I am a CADI Case Manager through ******. I have a client who moved to ************** Apartments in June. When he was shown the apartment initially, he was shown a unit with a stove and bathroom accommodations for his needs and the building manager led him to believe that these were standard in every apartment. When he was moved into his apartment, there was no stove and no bathroom accommodations. Upon requesting a move to a unit that had accommodations and a stove, the building manager informed us that there are no such units available for him to move to. As a vulnerable adult, my client cannot live in an apartment without accommodation or a stove, and he should never have been led to believe that his apartment would come with them if they did not have any available.
