I have become super frustrated with this company. My hospital has sent a claim to them 5 times in 90 days. Each time Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota receives the claim they report the claim was submitted incorrectly and myself, insurance, and the hospital all get on a call, resolve the issue (supposedly), and confirm everything the new submitted claim is okay and we resubmit the claim again. 5 time now....if Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota is helping me every time, why is the claim then still incorrect?...30 days later when I call them for an update? It also takes 1-2 hours every time you call to complete this process. And ***** days of waiting 'for the process to work itself out' in between calls. Unfortunately, patients like myself do not have ***** days x 5 to 'wait for the process' every time Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota and Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association process a claim incorrectly. As now, doctors are coming after me, the patient, for their fees. One surgery and claim is over $35,000, where I have already paid out of pocket over $7,000. And of course this has not been applied to my co-insurance because Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association isn't filing this large claim correctly. As I continue to have to go to doctors, The customer support line is a International Team not based in ** (confirmed) and probably not in ***************** (not confirmed) They seem and respond like Tier 1 Representatives that have no real connection with the ****************** I am run ragged in circles online and over the phone with this company. And all I want is for my claims to be approved/or even denied correctly which my company that I work at and myself pay for heavily for. I am not asking for much, at least for Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association to take these concerns seriously. I'd love for someone at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota to send me a message or look up my account and call or email me.
