I was told the gold hoop earrings where 18k. I have looked at them and tested the gold and they test for 10k. All sales are final with this **** shop. I just want them to be honest and not try to scam people.Business response

Hello,
As I have been working at this shop and its manager since this store opened almost 30 years ago, I can wholeheartedly tell you that we do stand by our gold. If we made a mistake, we do our best to correct that. I, at no time, had such an issue brought to me or my staff that would suggest we ever turned away anyone over a mistake of this description that had been made on our part. Our only requirement for us to confirm the details of the sale is your store receipt. In 3 decades of buying and selling gold, I can tell you that we have made every attempt to prevent errors and even more effort to make sure no customer rightly feels we are trying to lie to them or scam them. At the end of the day, though, we are human, and we make mistakes. If we had known we had made a mistake, if this had been brought to us so we could know what happened, we would have been more than happy to correct it and do our best to keep a customer happy and ineterested in buying more in the future.
If my staff honestly made such an error, you have the sincere apologies of us all. We take pride in our work and the services we offer our customers. Not one of us would wish to get over on a paying customer.

I am rejecting this response because:
I didn't check the jewelry until almost 3 weeks later. I looked at it through a loop and it looks like it's only 10k. I was told it was 18k and it tested 10k. The receipt clearly states all sales are final, so I made not attempt to contact the shop based on that. So the shop is angry at me now and talked pretty unprofessional so I don't except this as an excuse. I did learn from this I will contact the shop next time I have an issue, but it won't be this shop. Thank you for your help.
