***** called and talked to **** about a van on April 4,2023. When he said $2000 down and he would deliver it to us and at that time we could look it over and decide if we wanted to buy or get our $2000 deposit back, we were sold!He told us 2-3 weeks for the van to be ready for delivery. ***** called him 4/18 and **** said it wasn't quite ready.***** called again 4/26/23 and left a message - no call back from ******************* called again 4/28/23 and left a message - no call back from ******************* called the business number on 5/1/23 . **** not available and was transferred to ****'s voicemail and left a message.Now I have had enough , I'm ***, ******* wife. ****** is my brother who we are buying the van for. It's been over 4 weeks! I think we have been scammed! So I call the business number on 5/3/23. And I am told **** not there and do I want to leave a message. I tell her no and explain my story. She then transfers me to ****'s assistant ****** who doesn't answer and I am asked to leave a message.I call the business number back, tell her ****** is not answering and I don't want to leave a message , that I no longer want to buy the van and I want my $2000 back.Magically! Within 5 Minutes **** calls me!!! The van is in the final stages . Waiting for a part and end of the week . I explain it's been over 4 weeks. My brother ****** who is planning to go to ***** on Sunday, finds a van Thursday night. So I call **** and text **** on Friday that I no longer want the van and would like my $2000. The van is magically ready! And he can deliver it today! So when I told him no, he said he could only give me $1000 back I would like my $2000 back please.Business response

On May 27th 2022 I Ordered a van, at the time I was told it would be delivered to my home in 4 to 5 weeks. Today is July 29th and I still don't have the van or a delivery date. So every time my wife has a doctors appointment I have to rent a van from a local company, costing me an average of $200.00 after fuel. The only contact I have is the salesman, ********************* whom I have contacted almost every week. I want a delivery date or a refund of my $2,000.00 down payment.Business response

We have contacted **************** and given him a mutually agreed credit off his purchase. This credit will help pay for his rentals while we work on completing the reconditioning of his purchased vehicle.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
Although I appreciate the credit off the purchase price it doesn't meet the requirements of a settlement. Either return my deposit or deliver the vehicle.Business response
