On April 4, 2024 I ordered an 2015 Audi Q5 Engine2.0L (turbo), VIN F (5th digit, engine ID CPM, engine ID CPMA) with the following specifications and price:Condition - Tested Excellent Condition Miles - 42K miles ******** ***************** 5 Years UNIT - Price - $3100 Quality - "A" Grade Shipping to Business address - FREE Taxes $286 Total Price - $3386 The engine was shipped to ******* Motorwerks in ******* ***** to be installed. The cost to remove the current engine and install the 'new' engine from Auto-part Recyclers was $4201.84.The engine delivered did not come with anything. It was a simply a block. ******* Motorworks had to order additional parts and re-use others to install the 'new' engine. They noticed that the engine was re-worked/re-manufactured and after installing it was found to not be working properly which clearly indicated that the engine was not in fact properly tested before being sold to me. Auto-parts recycler agreed to provide the warranty for the engine and agreed to provide a replacement engine. They also agreed to pay for the removal of the original engine that didn't work. They lied to me on two occasions stating that a new engine has been purchased at auction, would be tested and shipped to ******* Motorwerks but in fact nothing had been shipped. I have now been without a car for 3 months. Their fraudulent and deceptive business practices is against the Minnesota Statutes Chapter 325F, Section 68 through 70.
