I was stopped in a no parking zone. Waiting for my girlfriend to return from ***** Fargo place. A security officer ****** walked up and knocked on my window. I asked him to put a mask on as I am at server risk for COVID-19. He refused to. I obviously refused to roll my window down. He then proceeded tapping on the glass now with a metal object hitting the window much harder than when he knocked on it. I told him through the glass, I was waiting for someone inside. Asked if I could park in the parking area, was told no and I was blocking traffic and needed to move. By this time four or five vehicles went around me with no issues. I told him I wasn't dealing with him to call the authorities, and continued reading as I was before. I want to point out the whole front of the building also says no parking and there were vehicles lining the whole street. Yet I'm the only one Nate was having a power trip on. When trying to call *********************** Director of Security, He would only tell me his name was **** and nothing more, then he hung up on me. I called back and asked him if it was normal for them to train there employees to tap on glass with metal items. **** then told me I was lying and it was all on camera. That I was committing a criminal act and if I come around there they would have me arrested.I by no means am a lawyer, I am pretty sure parking in a no parking is a city ordinance and only punishable by a fine. I don't believe I was committing any crimes by sitting there and reading while waiting.Eventually a St **** officer showed up asked what I was doing. While the officer wasn't wearing a mask he didn't stand directly in front of my widow, he kept his distance and just asked me to drive around the block untill my girlfriend was ready to be picked up. Very professional and respectable. Unlike the security team at ***** Fargo place. The security team needs massive training. So many things wrong. First off a unidentified stranger walks up to your window doesn't even identify him self and just starts knocking or tapping on the vehicle. Seems like a dangerous situation. Then refusing to maintain safety by masking or standing back from others shows a complete disrespect for everyone else. Nate seem like he had hostile intentions with no interest in doing his job. Then the **** ********** unfortunately this person is in charge of the whole operations. He is probably more dangerous than Nate. He won't even listen to guests (customers) concerns to try and improve on operations. Already has threatened and shown he is willing to lie and get someone arrested cause he doesn't want to do his job or what most would consider morally right. The security team has just lost business for the buildings tenants. As we will never visit this location again and I'm sure situations like this has happened or will happen again when management doesn't care how a situation is handled.
