I purchased a vehicle from the Luther Cadillac and Im not able to register the vehicle in my name. This due to the fact that they sent the documents to the wrong county I dont not reside in. Ive made several attempts to talk to someone in finance and Im sent to voicemail. The salesperson has been helpful, but his hands are tied. This is an administrative issue.Business response

We are aware of our mistake and have apologized to ***********. It was not done on purpose as we are not familiar with ***** licensing and made an error. We have been in contact with ***** and they have sent us the original paperwork back for us to and we sent it to Dallas County DMV as ****** from the ***** DMV instructed us. The package was sent via federal express on 12/20/2021. Tracking number is 775554980816.
Once again, We are sorry for the mistake and I can only hope that *********** gets his title work sooner than later.

I am rejecting this response because:
The issue has still not been resolved. The paperwork was sent to an another wrong location for a second time. This was sent to the Dallas County *************** This is office is for marriage licenses, birth certificates, etc. I spoke to *********************** from the **************************. She informed me that she never said for the paperwork to be mailed to that office nor did she have a clue where it is supposed to go. She simply just mailed it back to dealership. I have been in contact with **** Port to get this resolved. I forward all the time stamped email correspondence with the salesman on the address documents needed to be mailed to. This was relayed prior to the first time it was mailed to the wrong location. I contacted the salesperson on 12/21/21 and he informed he had no updates on the title. I was informed after contacting BBB, that it was mailed out on 12/21/21. This all could of been prevented if I was contacted to confirm the address of where it needed to be mailed to.Business response

Once again we apologize for this not going smoothly.
Unfortunately we are not familiar with all the different states titling rules.
We did see the emails with your salesman and called ***** to confirm. Hannah had told my title clerk to send it to DALLAS COUNTY DMV ************************************ as you live in Dallas County. We followed her instructions as we have to do all the title work on all vehicles with loans per our dealer agreement with the financial institutions.
My hope is this will provide a resolution to this honest mistake.
