When I spoke to the gentleman owning the business he assured me and spoke very highly about the fact that the storage lockers had a special type of ceiling that prevented moisture from happening during changes in temperature. That is not true! Also he failed to tell me that the landscaping business he owns as well as the onsite storage facility does not know what a correct grade would be in order for there not to be snow and ice build up on one side south side of every other unit!!!!! Being in the landscaping business I do believe you should know what a grade is and how to grade correctly to avoid these kinds of things. My storage unit has been not just damp but very wet as a result of this. Not acceptable!!!Business response

I received your correspondence dated September 28, 2022 and the details of a complaint that was filed against Metro West Irrigation and Landscaping, ****
In response, the site of Metro ************ was engineered by *************************, *******, *********. *** buildings were engineered and erected by *************** Systems. *************** Systems is an experienced company from *********. We selected a state of the art building system. ***y are involved with 10,000-15,000 buildings each year. Metro ************ was built to the plans. *** design plans were followed and approved by the City of Waverly ******** Inspector. Metro West Irrigation and Landscaping, **** was not involved in determining the grade or slope of the site as we left this to the experts in the field. Paving was done in accordance with the engineered plans for the development. *** grade and slope is compliant with *** standards which requires 1/8" per foot of slope. We actually exceeded code to keep water from entering units by installing a bituminous lip of 1 1/2-2" above the flat level with a step up to the concrete slab. *** direction of snow melt and drip from the roof has to do with the sun affecting the north side before the south side. A drastic change in the humidity level may cause condensation in the unit when the door is opened. We have heard from a majority of our renters that they find our units to be outstanding in comparison to ones that have rented in the past. Our rental contract includes notice to renters that building contents are not the responsibility of our business and they must carry their own insurance for the items they plan to store in their units. ******************* has been our customer since 2021 and we have attempted to help her with the voiding of late fees due to payment method failures on her account. She continues to rent the storage unit from us. We contacted her and she did not report any problems of this nature. We informed her that we would prefer to speak directly about issues or problems so that they may resolved quickly and fairly to both parties.
