      As president of the Highland ************************************* I am filing this complaint because of ******** failed winterization of the Association's irrigation system. Hansen's Lawn Care was under contract for the 2021 season to winterize the irrigation system. This spring I contacted **************** to inform him that pipes were broken, and he agreed to meet with me, however he did not show up. He sent one of his employees who was unable to help. This left us on our own to get the pipes fixed. We were informed that the connecting pipes were not blown out properly, so they had to be rebuilt. It cost the Association $2,450.11 to have this work done. A certified letter was sent to Hansen's lawn Care on September 12,2022 asking for reimbursement by October 31,2022. The Association has yet to receive a response.

      The complaint from Highland HOA, we did receive the certified letter. But, there was no number to call back to.  In the Spring of 2022, they asked a representative from Hansen's Lawn Care to be sent to the property and bring the water meters and rpz's (components of the sprinkler system.) Hansen's Lawn Care sent their Operations Manager and senior ***************. to the location. The representative for HIghland HOA was upset the owner of Hansen's Lawn Care wasn't there. We sent the most experienced *************** out, our Operations Manager. Upon discuss with the representative; there was no known issues for the irrigation system at the time. Fast forward to September of 2022, we receive the letter requesting payment for repairs. However, if indeed there were repairs needed, why wasn't Hansen's Lawn Care made aware prior to September; and been provided the opportunity to make said repairs?

      We believe this complaint to be inaccurate based upon conversations in the Spring; and no professional follow up and request for repairs were officially made.

       I am rejecting this response because:

      This is not true. The person he sent to replace himself saw the broken pipes but was unfamiliar with irrigation and said he would have ****** contact me. I heard nothing from ******, so we went ahead and had it fixed. Why did he not show up himself when he said he would? He is responsible for the cost of repairs. There will be no acceptance until payment is received.

      Good morning. My Operations Manager definitely has more experience than I do as the owner as it relates to irrigation systems; which is why I sent him. I never informed this HOA that I personally would come, merely that "we as an organization would meet." which we did.  The consumers last message was that there was a cracked pipe; if that was the case, one cracked pipe does not result in excess of $2K in repairs. If repairs were made they were grossly inflated. Regardless, our representative met the **** and the discussion did not conclude with or necessitate Hansen's Lawn Care performing any repairs. Which, as stated previously, is a big surprise to us when we received the letter early this Fall with a repair bill.  With all due respect, our opinion based upon our meeting with the **** is that this claim is conjecture and subjective. I'm not sure why the accusations are being made with no clear timelines, communications and/or requests to repair any irrigation system components.
