I had started a membership years ago, always paid monthly but rarely used the service because I didnt like the results, I had so many unused packages that I put it on hold for 6 months and was going to use my remaining packages then cancel. I went on and once again thought the results were terrible and painful. So I canceled in October. I have the emails from the manager confirming it was canceled. Today I noticed 129 dollars on my bank account from them. I called and emailed them, but the response was oh properly a glitch we will call tomorrow. Why do they have my card on file months later? Plus Thats almost double the membership fee. I would think they would handle this faster but are in no hurry to fix there mistakes, it not legal to charge someones card without an agreement.Initial Complaint

I had signed up for a monthly package through the lash studio, which includes two eyelash refills each month. Monthly charge is $109.99 I had considered canceling the last time I was in the salon sometime in June. The lady working the front desk advised I would lose out on my last fill if I canceled that day. I had asked if it would continue to get charged for the following months and I was told I wouldnt be so I didnt cancel. Now the passed two months I have been charged in total of $219.98. For something I will never use. I have contacted the salon and I am not eligible for a refund because its policy which is understandable. But someone in their establishment provided me with wrong information and I do not feel at fault.Business response

It is clearly written in our policy that all we require is a written notice the night before the automatic payment is supposed to be pulled.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
Youre employee gave false information as Ive stated before. Im sure it is policy, just like anywhere else has policies but now its time to recognize YOUR employees mistake and refund my money as I am not just going to be out $219.98I see the situation as unfair and not handled appropriately.
It is also very clear that my account was not in use and Im not sure why it would continue to charge the monthly fee and keep acquiring more fills. Especially when YOUR employee told me it would only be drawn out when I had zero fills remaining.

" I do apologize if something was miscommunicated between our staff and our clients unfortunately. In the membership agreement the form all members sign at the time of signing up for this membership you agree to automatic payments until you provide us with written notice that you would like to freeze or cancel your membership. All we require is the evening before the payment is supposed to be pulled. Lots of our clients let their fills build up and accumulate over time as some clients like to take a break, travel etc. You can use the refill credits in your account at any location nationwide! You can use your refill credits in your account for many different services as well; towards a full set, refill, lash lift and or a brow lamination. I do apologize if there was ever any miscommunication from our staff but within the membership program is the membership policy per cancellation which states we do need in written notice and already drawn membership dues are non refundable but can be used at any location!"
