We purchased a new ram **** 7 weeks ago . Fthe inance manager **** would not let us get out of 5500$ insurance/warranty that we voiced we did not want. We paid an extra $1k to refinance new vehicle and yet we have not got reimbursed the $5,500 that they continue to report they put in request but they will not send any paperwork to let us verify this. Any time we try to talk with a manager about this they transfer us to **** and he continues to mislead us on what he is doing and how long this process takes.

The dealership cancelled the contract and proceeds were sent to the bank as there was a lien on the title. There was a mistake made with the amount that was sent to the bank, the office manager issued a separate check for the different and sent to the bank to take out of Mr. ************ loan amount. Please reach out if further explanation is needed.

I am rejecting this response because:
Funds have not been returned to loan as verified on Friday. I have tried multiple times to talk with management and continue to get transferred to **** who since 12/27/23 reported we would receive check but have not as of Friday 2/2/24. We paid $1k to refinance loan without the insurance

In early February of this year my son hit a deer with his car on his way to work so it became necessary for him to find a new car. He found this 2008 ********** with ******* miles on it for $12,000. We felt it would be a reliable vehicle for him to get back and forth to work. We financed the care for 60 months. During the financing portion we were offered insurance covering the vehicle should it need a transmission or engine replacement during the financing terms of the vehicle. We felt, given the age of the vehicle that would be a good option. After driving the vehicle for less than a month the vehicle broke down and, after having it towed to ****'s garage in ****************** we were informed that the engine was not repairable. We contacted the insurance company in regard to this repair and, after a few months of back and forth, they informed us they wouldn't cover the repair because it was caused by a non-moving part.I contacted the dealership on June 13 regarding this matter and they said they would see what they could do. They picked up the vehicle in mid-July and said they would submit stuff to the service contract company. We didn't hear anything for a month so I contacted ***** the sales manager and he said the Service Manager would reach out to my son. From what I understand the Service Manager told my son they wouldn't be able to help him and offered to repair the vehicle, but we would have to pay for it.My son is 19 years old new to the workforce and doesn't have the money to pay for this repair so now he is stuck paying for a vehicle for the next 5 years for a car that doesn't work. I don't think it is normal for an engine to blow up 3 weeks after purchase. I think the dealership should take responsibility for not conducting a complete inspection of the vehicle before selling it. We were also never told that the coverage we were sold only covered moving parts. I have tried to resolve this issue with the dealer, but they haven't responded to my emails.

We have been in contact with both the buyer and the co-buyer in this case. We were able to trade them out of the vehicle with mechanical issues into a newer nicer car with less miles for about the same payment. Issue has been resolved and both parties are happy with the outcome.
