  On 05/03/2021 I received a quote from *** ******** (All About Garage Doors) to replace the door on my double wide garage door at **** ******** **** ** ****** ** **********. In this quote he stated that he could replace the entire opening with one custom made door for $1,180. I paid a down payment of $590.00 with Check #4067. I also asked for a Lien Waiver upon completion. I don't have a copy of the original Job # and quote due to what followed. I want to mention that *** was never very good at communicating by either answering his cell phone or returning my voicemails. Some where in the middle of May 2021 he called and stated he couldn't make that special order door work in that opening. He said that he could order me a standard double door and install a doubled up 2" X 6" x 16' header which he would cover with brown aluminum since he had a metal break. We agreed that the price would stay the same. He arrived on 05/27/2021 and installed the standard double garage door. At the top to complete, He installed 2, stacked, 2" x 6" x 16' boards as the header to seal the door opening. He did NOT install the brown metal trim over that header since he said that it was back ordered due to COVID. He would return and install the metal when he received it. He then created a new Job Ticket #: 2751. I made a mistake in paying him the entire balance of $590.00 with Check # ****. I attach a copy of this Ticket. I called him numerous times between 05/27/2021 and the end of September. As i stated earlier, he communicates VERY poorly. He only answered one call during this period. Not exactly sure of the date but it was over the summer. He said that he still couldn't get the metal and was going to try a metal place in Festus/Crystal City, No further response since then. On 10/05/2021 I sent a letter (attached) by Certified US Mail attempting to get an installation date for the metal. I enclose a US Mail receipt signed by Mr. ********. I have received no response from the letter.

  This company came out to my home on Saturday and resolved this complaint.
