Dear Better Business Bureau,I am writing to file a complaint regarding an exterior painting job that was completed by LJC. My house had been in a great shape since I moved in 2008. In late 2022, I noticed a small spot on the rim with some paint feeling off, so I decided to have the entire exterior painted to enhance the appearance and protection of my home. The painting job, which I contracted to LJC for close to $2700, has unfortunately resulted in significant issues, particularly with paint severely peeling off.Despite assurances of quality workmanship and the use of durable paint products, the paint on multiple areas of my home's exterior began peeling off within a relatively short time frame. This has not only detracted from the aesthetic appeal of my property but has also raised concerns about potential water damage and structural issues.I noticed this issue early March 2024 after I came back to ** from living abroad for a few months. Attempts to address the problem with LJC have been met with inadequate responses or outright dismissals. Despite numerous requests for a resolution or follow-up inspection, they have failed to take appropriate action to rectify the situation.As a consumer who entrusted LJC with a significant home improvement project, I am deeply disappointed by the lack of accountability and professionalism displayed in their handling of this matter. The substandard workmanship and failure to honor their commitment to customer satisfaction are unacceptable.I am seeking assistance from the Better Business Bureau to facilitate a resolution to this matter and ensure that LJC takes responsibility for the deficiencies in their work. I urge you to investigate this complaint thoroughly and help me obtain the appropriate remedies, including but not limited to a refund or corrective action to address the peeling paint and restore the integrity of my home's exterior.Thank you for your attention to this matter. I hired them to paint my house. There was a young guy that left some of his supplies behind. He broke my lock to get the items. They said that they were going to fix it but haven't. I called them several times to see if they will fix it. I do not have a lock on my door and I am 80 years old.Business response
