We dropped our 2 yr old German Shepard ****** on Nov 16th , 2022 for a 2 week visit. We picked him up on Nov 28th. At that time all his items smelled really bad. We threw them away. About a week or so later he got sick and developed a cough. At this time I took him to the vet for a check, and she told me that he had kennel cough. They gave him some medicine to help. As I left the vets parking lot I called the kennel to make them aware of this. Not wanting anything from them just wanting them to be aware of the issue. The young man answered the phone and after I told him he, put another lady on the phone who was extremely rude. She said no one else has told us this and the vet can’t test for this so it could be something else he has. I just feel she could have handled it a little different. I wasn’t expecting anything from them but after the conversation with her I would like at least the vet bill taken care of. Thank you

They dropped him off on November 15 and picked him up on November 28.  The friend signed a disclosure stating everything was ok.  They just adopted the dog about three weeks before they boarded him.  He had the vaccination for kennel cough.  Anytime a dog goes into the vet, they give them the same medicine as kennel cough.  They can't test for kennel cough.  The dog ate well here and he didn't cough here.  We haven't had any dogs with kennel cough here.  We would have let the customer know to look out for it if we noticed anything.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

we have had our dog for over 2 years if they look at the record they can see he was there a year ago as well.  I can show proof of when we adopted him and I dropped him off not a friend and my daughter picked him up.

      Sincerely,

      ***** ******
