  We paid over 7,000 dollars IN FULL to have some work done at our house. ******** **** owner of BTG construction did part of the job and hasn't returned to finish it. He is supposed to put in a window and finish one piece of siding. He refuses to do either. We have messaged him multiple times, but he always says he will come out and finish. But hasn't. It has been 6 months that he has refused to finish our job. We have asked for the window back since we paid him for it and a partial refund so we can hire someone reputable to finish the job. He won't do either. We asked him to finish the job and he won't. He makes excuses and something always comes up why he can't finish. We have the paid receipt. We always try and use small town businesses, but in this case, that was a huge mistake. We just want what we paid for. We paid him IN FULL to do a job and he won't finish it nor will he give us pur window or a partial refund.

  We contacted BTG Construction (******** ****) 03/20/2022 for a porch re-model. He showed up and gave us a bid, we agreed on $2400.00 1/2 up front and the other half when completed. We had to order supplies which took a while we paid the 1/2 on 05/09/2022 he was supposed to start 05/10/2022 he only dropped off a trailer that day no work performed. 05/13/2022 No show on project, 05/16 no show on project, 05/19/2022 asked for a float of $400.00, asked again on 05/20/2022 against my husbands wishes I paid him the $400.00. On 05/30 I requested that the porch get completed that week, he replied "good chance it will be completed". Well on 05/31 he was a no show, 06/01 no show, 06/02 no show on 06/08 I asked again if the project was going to be done he replied it should be close. 06/09 said his Mom fell he would not be working, 06/10 not working, 06/13 he did not make it had a flat tire. Said he would be there 06/14 I asked him again to get it done by this time we are getting very frustrated! 06/16 sick, 06/17 sick, 06/19 sick 06/21 issues with mom, 06/22 no show no call we told him to not come to our house again and that we were getting another contractor. He did not do $1600.00 worth of work and left the project half done. We want half of the money back $800.00. I do have all of the text messages from Ben/BTG Construction. His phone also quit working because he could not pay his bill and we could only text him or call thru messenger.

  First things first, materials was ordered from homeowners with explicated details of what's was needed. Not just detailed information on the phone with homeowners but the pros desk representative of required length and square footage. Railing kits needed what type kit needed Including the gate of the same styleas rails, flux stone, and lumber needed.
  None of this was correct. There wad was not gate kit ordered it was to be replaced with a babt gate that wasn't even close to the size opening needef. QThere wasn't enough wire ran there was no top rails ordered the rock was order after the project began delay 2 two weeks of the project after tear out of 25x4ft brick wall. They changed the type of wood style they decided a custom rail rather what came with the kit. They wanted me to custom wood work. They didn't get stack stone which different then cobblestone they ordered. My bid was specifically designed for the bid I made. 1200 was for brick tear out and haul. $400 was for repairing existing concrete damage and epoxy coating the patio. $350 for 80sqft i wasn't paid for. I did complete one side with custom wood work i wasn't paid. I was expected to finish on the 24th but was told charges would be pressed against me if we came on property. They have property of mine in their possession of two metal sawhorses and a cut table. The husband was hostel towards me. My equipment was locked in log chains with a pad lock on it. They have been very scary to work with. The issue with mom is correct. I have medical records of my heat exhaustion as Temps was above 110°. I don't want to have any contact with this family for my own safety. They state they want $800 refund but I have msg saying they want $400. This complaint is not legitimate and needs to be removed. They are mad because they want free work out of me with additional order mistakes and frankly she paid with a credit card shows me they didn't have enough to pay for the material cost and labor cost and tried to stretch it out and get free project done at my expense. At the end of this project my total labor would been around $5000. $2600 more then what I bid the job for. I cut my losses on this job. As they owe me money for the rock installation and custom wood work. As you had saw in the pics I assume because mine won't load. This is not a legitimate complaint. I don't recommend any contractor to do business with this family. I do not want this email to transfer to them for safety reasons they are hostel and I have them block on all my platforms. I don't need the husband to show up at my door or in public.

  I am in fear of this family, I do not want my response sent to them, I will not refund them any money, nor will I attempt to collect any money. I am done with this dispute, I will not engage in any future conversations with this complaint.
