This company was hired to remove my old 50 ft oak tree in the front yard. They left two feet of tree at the bottom above the ground. The owner knew I wanted it fully removed. In the meantime, I referred him to my neighbor. At the end I asked that he clean up the limbs from the neighbor because there are the limbs in the roof and in my yard. He said he would but didn&#**;t. He also left my neighbor&#**;s tree 6 feet from the ground. My neighbor and I have both called him and he will not answer our calls.Business response

The company did not come back to finish the job: chopping down the remainder of the tree, grinding the stump and cleaning up the debris. I had to hire another company and pay them $500 to finish the job. He offered me $300 as a pay off to not finish the job.Business response

We did come back and finish the job. She was happy and she didn't pay me until I was finished. She wanted me to grind the stump for $350 and I told her I could do it for $475. She agreed. We grinded it up and put it in a pile. If she wasn't happy, I'm not sure why she paid me. Grinding the stump was not in the contract. I reached out to her on June 10 and I went to her home. I told her I would refund her $300 of the $500 for grinding the stump. I called her again today and she didn't want to work with me.Customer response

Complaint: ********
I am rejecting this response because:They did not finish the job. I had another company to come out and finish it. I paid him when they took out the tree. He never told me he would grind the stump for $475. He didn't grind the stump at all. I paid him because I thought he took it down far enough. I have not seen this man since the first week of January since he took down a tree in my neighbor's tree. He called me and offered $300. I would accept the $300. I would prefer a money order or cashier's check for the $300. I don't want him to come to my home.
Sincerely,
