On Thursday February 29, 2024 I had **** ********* owner of Auto Glass Stop, Llc, come out to replace a broken drivers window. He neglected to clean out ANY glass from the door prior to replacing the glass. When he lowered the window he jammed the window regulator and burned the motor causing the window to get stuck in a lowered position. He tried to say it probably got messed up when the window was broken however the motor and regulator worked when he lowered the window to get it in the down position. He also said that he didn’t know what the problem was because “it was above his pay grade” However after viewing his website and facebook page it shows that his company also replaces Regulators and Motors. I paid *** ******** $275 cash, he offered a discount for cash payments. I’ve paid another person $50 to clean the glass out and another person $75 to take the door apart and manually raise the window because the parts I need are not available anywhere at this time. I will have to still pay additional cost for the parts and labor to replace what he broke.Business response

On Thursday, February 29, 2024, I showed up to ********** house. When I got arrived, the battery was not connected. I helped her get the battery connected so that I would be able to roll the window up and down. She left to go get payment up the street so I got started. I took the door panel off and was able to get the new door glass in but the window would not roll down so I waited for her to get back before proceeding with any more work. She got back from getting payment and I explained the situation. Possibly the motor or switch is out, not the regulator. She didn't understand the situation so she called her son and I explained to him. He said he would figure out and to leave the door panel off. I collected payment and left. A few minutes later, I received a call from her and she was yelling and cussing me out about how I didn't vacuum the glass out. I could not vacuum the glass because the window would not roll up. I had already explained all of this to her and her son. Once she decided to start cursing at me, I hung up on her. She then proceeded to call the office and cuss and yell at my staff about this. Then had her son call and he cussed out and threatened my staff. All of our office phone calls are recorded, unfortunately my cell phone calls are not. I spoke with her on my cell. Once they verbally attacked my staff, they proceeded to leave negative reviews on all platforms. Social media, ******, and ****. Even people we haven't even serviced are leaving negative reviews and spreading false information, stating we didn't even finish the job at all. This vehicle was broken into and stolen, therefore there was damage prior to us coming out to install this glass. We did not cause any damage to this vehicle. I will not be issuing her a refund as she got what she paid for. A new door glass replacement.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
The business owner basically sent the same response as before and it’s still unacceptable. He has also fabricated additional parts to the Attoney Generals Office that are completely false. I have attached a copy of his response to the AG showing he lies to make his story fit
