    What began as a enjoyable experience for my son turned out to be the most feared and most challenging experience ever after purchasing a Great Dane puppy from PETLAND Blue Springs. I made the decision to purchase this specific puppy due to the look and biggest smile my son had on his face since his dad was murdered a couple of months ago. Not knowing that after this steep purchase and not having the puppy for a full week would result in thousands of dollars in medical expenses for a puppy who was sick with a bacterial/viral infection. I was told to call PETLAND Claims/warranty line which I did followed by the line left for emergencies. While the puppy was struggling to breath. I called Perland back and asked how long before the lady who represents the claims/warranty department were to call me back I was told 1-3 business days. If I would have waited on the call back in general the puppy would have died. The Mgr on duty Brock with his nonchalant attitude responses conveyed he could care less if the puppy lived or died the sale was already made and the counselor Sem Botts made her commission. When Jennifer from the warranty department called me back on Monday after 9 am when I called her back same day my call was not returned until mid afternoon. During the conversation she wanted to relay she could not speak on what she was not present for but she could just close out my claim without paying for which she confirmed fell under warranty. Nevertheless while telling me what she needed in order to reimburse me she failed to give her email information to submit the claims to…the call ended as she continued to say I was speaking over her but wanted me to keep talking-either you want me to talk or you continue to interrupt by stating you cannot speak on what you were not present for yet you’re my advocate-that is backwards PETLAND BS needs to be shut down when it comes to selling dogs/cats. Underweight and ill health dogs will have you in a financial position not warranted.
