2 stars because not only was I not informed that someone would be sent out to do the job, they also did not finish the job. There are still big dead limbs on the tree. This has been an issue over a month now. There is no communication between SBD and their renters.

We moved from South Carolina in April and are renting until we build. If this company is any indication of how it is to rent, I want no part of it. My electricity went out late one afternoon. I put in a service order on the portal and called the emergency line. It was nearly 2 hours until someone got back to me. I explained that I had no electricity and Evergy told me that I had power to the meter. The gentleman from SBD said he would try to get an electrician out. Another hour went by so I called the emergency line again. I was told no one would be able to come out until 1-5 pm the next day. I ended up getting my own electrician to come out. He confirmed that the meters are switched. The one Evergy told me was mine belonged to someone else. I was out of power for 10 hours and had to stay at a hotel. After talking with Evergy, I wanted SBD to know what was going on. I called 3 different numbers at SBD and no one would call me back. I ended up driving to the office. When I expressed my concerns about the emergency number wait time and that I had to get my own electrician, Marcie told me that it really wasn't an emergency. It was more of an inconvenience. That they were not going to reimburse me for the electrician I was able to get because they "made an attempt". Before I left they said they were going to have their utilities person talk to Evergy and they would get back to me as to why my electricity went out. Shocker, I had to call Evergy myself and have not heard one word about this situation back from SBD Housing Solutions. It is clear to me that they do not care to do the right thing by people.

Professional scam artist ! Worst property management company I have ever encountered.. firstly they did not fix any of my move in issues till literally when my lease was almost up I assume because they knew they were not renewing my lease in which they did not inform of ..I had to reach out on my on to inquire and was hit with Im sorry you werent informed sooner that left me with less than 30 days to find a new home.. Moving fwd upon move out they are falsely charging me with $3,000 worth of made ** damages all in an attempt to keep my deposit as IF I DIDNT take before move in, in between move in , and move out pictures !!! .. i can go on and on about this company I wish I would have read the reviews beforehand .. con artist !! Do not rent from this company
