I picked up a Yorkie puppy on July 12, 2023, and took him to the Vet 3 days later. He was very sick and stayed in the Vet clinic 3 days at the cost of $888.They sent him home with three medications. He died on Friday night or Saturday morning the 21st or 22nd of July 2023. I paid $500 for the pup which I believe is only fair for **** ******* to return. Since she had a female die before I could pick it up she offered a male at the same price. I have tried to call her three or four times to see about the other dogs in the litter, but no answer on her phone. She may be involved in inbreeding.

regarding sale of puppy that passed away -  *** **** ***** an elderly 82 year old woman. was brought to my home by a husband and wife family members to assist her in the sale and picking out a puppy.-  All my communication was done with those family members -   not *** ******.  (see attached txt msg with the husband and wife family members to *** ******)I learned of the passing of the puppy by txt msg - on July 22, 2023.   (as you can see from the txt msg). - NOT from *** ****** but by the family that assisted her .  I then received a hand written letter by *** ****** -  stating she believed there was a 1 year guarantee?   -  there was no such thing!  I then txt the family members that helped her with the purchase of the puppy and verified that there was NO guarantee!   They stated they was aware of this and stated they would talk to her.  (please see attached txt msg).  I called *** ****** on July 27-  No Answer : and left her a msg to call me -  she never returned my call -  I also stated on the msg i left  that i needed documentation by the vet of the puppy’s death- and what they treated it for etc.  (the family that i did all communication with said the vet could not find anything ). I received  No documents from **** ***** or her family members.    when **** ****** purchased the puppy on July 12, 2023 -She refused to have me microchip the puppy-I explained to her the importance for ID if it was ever lost or stolen- or needed to be identified-  but she refused and i marked out the chip number on the paper work and wrote refused .    (see attached usda sheet and vaccination record)- where *** ****** signed her name taking possession of the puppy.  *** ****** letter stated she wanted a full refund because she believed there was a one year guarantee- That there wasn’t (I verified that with the family members that come with her.- and have documentation -see txt msg)Now in this BBB complaint -  she is accusing me of inbreeding my puppies : That i clearly do not do.  But no mention of a health guarantee she had mention in her first letter to me.The previous puppy that passed away she mentions : was a very tiny runt of the litter -  i talked to One of *** *******  family members about how tiny she and if she lived i would sell the little girl for 500.00 -  but unfortunately July 2 2023- she passed ..   (I never discussed this puppy with **** *******  it was all threw another family member who communicated with her.  so all that would be here say-   clearly because i don’t know what was said or communicated to her.unfortunately, I do not know the environment the puppy was taken into from my residence.  I do not know what *** ****** did regarding food and water -  (which I sent samples of each with her the day of sell)I don’t believe i’m responsible for returning mrs jewels payment -   the puppy was purchased on 7-12-2023 and then passed on 7-21-2023 or  7-22- 2023  ( 9-10 days later and was never see by a vet again after being hospitalized for three days??   ). I have No voicemail or notification of the puppy being sick until they informed me of its death. NOT *** ****** but the family that assisted her on July 22, 2023 -   I feel like *** ****** has changed her complaint multi times.   The puppy was sold with no guarantee no microchip ,-  i have no documentation by a vet of the puppy passing- or sickness or what it was treated for  - plus no way of identifying the puppy because of her refusal of having a micro chipped

      Complaint: 20400186

I am rejecting this response because: I did not have my family members there to assist me! I was the buyer, not my cousins! I chose between two male puppies. The reason I sent her a letter snail mail was because after 5 attempts to call her phone number and I always left a message with my phone number and ask her to please call me. She never called ME! I have had dogs all my life; the last 3 were Yorkies. My last yorkie lived 15 years and died of old age. I have never lost a dog and I didn't want to have him chipped since he would be on a leash or in my house. I would be happy to send her a copy of the Vet bill which I never thought she should pay. I don't believe there is any law that says you have to micro-chip your dogs, I have also never received a death certificate from all the vets I have used over the years. I'm not sure why she decided to put my age in the beginning of her response, i can only assume she thought I was senile. Anyway my 2nd cousin must have told her because of her phone calls to them. Anyway there are several complaints against her on the internet. I have no reason to sue her. I think $250 would make me happy, she should take some responsibility and I would be happy to send her the vets findings. I live 150 miles from my cousins and see them rarely.

      Regards,

      **** ******

      to whom it concerns -
*** ****** *****l was brought to my home by her family - they assisted her from my driveway to the front door too…. they all three held puppies -  i weighed puppies and they assisted her in picking out a puppy and then helped this elderly woman back to the van parked in my front drive.  …. - ( again this is another fabrication *** ****** *****l is telling- please see txt msg)
****** ****** keeps talking about the vet bills etc -  that’s she has never provided to me-   and her family told me (because all communications have been done threw them regarding sale ) The vet wasn’t sure what the puppy was sick from - so i’m not sure how the puppy was treated  medically-  and the puppy was never taken back to the vet and was told it passed away ( I would of assumed the puppy would of had a follow up visit with vet). There is no documentation of death or proof.  I have NO way of knowing or proving that my puppy was the one taken to the vet -  or passed away with out being microchipped scanned by the vet- .   unfortunately *** ****** *****l has been deceitful and lied multiple times in these letters to the BBB -  I have tried to prove my case with the attached documents.

****** ****** states she looked at two puppies -  when she looked at 4 males that day (see photo attached in txt msg to family members who assisted her)  - Another fabrication that *** ****** is making.

I talked to *** ****** *****ls family and then attempted to contact her when i got her hand written letter in the mail -  left a msg and she never returned my call ….  Her family stated to me they would talk to her ..   I feel like *** ****** is confused and is being deceitful-

The woman has lied / or is confused of this entire transaction that was done with her family’s assistance.   I have provided proof of this and -  unfortunately she has provided nothing but lies on this entire transaction.
      Thank you   ******* ****
      Please note
*her cousins phone number whom she speaks of in the letter - ************ that is who i communicated with via txt - and have attached the txt msg
There are NOT multiple complaints, against me on the internet -   another lie
I feel like i’m being scammed and that is why i didn’t send any money -  and at this point -  i have waisted enough time on this fraudulent woman and this matter.  Please note i notice now she has changed her price from 500.00 to 250.00 -
With NO documentation by a veterinarian on the dogs death i’m at a loss to return her money - she has been fraudulent in these letters-  I can not trust this woman is being truthful.
