      I received your letter dated August 1, 2024. I did install a new A C system on August 2nd. The other requests are on schedule to repairs.

      We contacted *********************, the landlord in our apartment, about a month ago in early April due to a water heater malfunction. She sent one of her maintenance staff to our apartment, who said he would recommend a new water heater or at least replacing the elements.A week later with no follow-up, we contact her again and she says the maintenance staff has COVID. When we asked if all of her staff has COVID, she sent a fellow renter and his son to come look at the water heater. They said the same thing; a new heater was preferred, but new elements might help for the time being. **** calls us and tells us to go to ****** and buy replacement parts for the water heater, then call her and she'll send her maintenance man to come fix it. It doesn't seem like that should be our job, but we do it anyways because we haven't had hot water in over a week at this point. After buying the parts, **** completely stops answering texts or calls.It has been over a month with no hot water available at this point. She doesn't answer texts or calls, and there is no other contact information available for anyone else working for the apartments. We pay $840 a month and have had to shower at friend's houses or the gym.
