We contracted A+ Siding and Custom Trim LLC to replace the siding on our home. They came out to our house to estimate the job in the mid-September timeframe of 2022. They sent us a quote in a very timely manner via the Jobber portal. After getting quotes from three other contractors, we decided to go with A+ Siding and they came back out to our house on Oct 6th, 2022, to get a deposit of $6,652.00 so they could order the materials and start the job. We received both the quote and the deposit receipt through the Jobber web portal. They gave us a start date of Nov 2nd but when we hadn't heard anything from them as the date got closer, we reached out. It took them some time to get back to us, but they did and said they still hadn't received all of the materials. Then as that date got closer, we reached out and again they didn't respond in a timely manner. We then began to think they were going to be a problem. We contacted them via email, phone call leaving a voice mail, text, and ******** messenger on their business page telling them we would initiate legal action if necessary - they responded quickly after that telling us they had a family emergency but assured us they would take care of us and set a new date for the job of Nov 15th. Again, as that date got closer, we reached out to them and then they told us they would no longer be able to do remodeling because they couldn't keep a crew. They said they had a new construction crew that was 100% booked but they couldn't keep a remodeling crew so they would have to return our money. We've been staying in contact and hearing excuse after excuse until now (12/10/2022) and it appears they have taken their website down and are no longer members of the *********** ** Chamber of Commerce. They took our $6,652 and have apparently shut down their business...Initial Complaint

I hired this contractor to install new siding, soffit and facia, trim and gutters. They then told me they would need a down payment of $7453.50 (half of the total invoice) which was paid on September 16th 2022, to get us on the schedule for a definite start date of October 12th 2022. We had tried contacting them numerous times right before the start date to make sure all is on track, because we never had received a call. Finally, the day before they were to start, the owner answers (I think on accident) and says she was going to call but never did. Says they were waiting on a piece of material, but she didnt know what piece it was. She said she would call me back tomorrow when she talked to her husband to see what it was. I told her please call me back because it was difficult to get in touch with them. She then said I will call you right back. She never had a problem calling, nor was it hard to contact them before they deposited my check. I still as of October 28th, have yet to here anything from them. They dodge all my phone calls, and all my emails. I have sent many. I now want my money back, and have left them messages saying that. They have breached the contract as of October 12th.
