      Buyer beware they will keep your deposit and try to extort and in***idate to keep any part of your deposit by the owner saying “ YOU DO NOT WANT TO GO TO COURT WITH ME” and they do not have paperwork that says you lose your deposit. But since the owner is IN THE DEPOSIT KEEPING BUSINESS , hope he’s enjoying the $500 he extorted from us..seems like he needs it, wonder how long they will stay in business?

      The customer came in and looked at a boat with our salesman ***. When they got back he told him it would be a $1,500 nonrefundable deposit to take it off the market. Our deposits are refundable if there is something with the boat that was not described. In this case everything with the boat was as described. The customer agreed to it. I was also in the office and over heard him agree to it. He said he wanted to bring his wife in 2 days later to look at it. 3-4 days later our salesman *** reached out to him and he said they no longer wanted the boat, he didn't want to bring his wife back, nor wanted to move forward. The customer called back eventually demanding the $1,500 deposit and we told him it was nonrefundable. There was a three way call with ****, *** and ******* where ******* threatened to sue multiple ***es. **** said the conversation was done since he threated to sue. Towards the end of the conversation they agreed to give him $1,000 on the nonrefundable deposit back. I drafted the agreement on letter head and send it to *******. ******* docusigned the agreement and Hughes signed it as well.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      Completely a lie and fraud on the business and no one is surprised they would say that. They must have to be in the deposit keeping business to stay afloat! Will pursue actions with the ******** ******* *ffice next, thank you BBB for getting them to respond with those lies!

      Do you see any place on the receipt attached that say NON -REFUND DEPOSIT,Of course the BBB will do nothing but maybe the ******** ******l office can help when businesses take advantage of people and keep their deposit.

      Sorry I noticed that I missed an email with his last response. I would like to just say. That we do everything we can to serve our customers as best as we can. I have an attachement to show that ******* and ***** agreed to the refund before they came on his to make the complaints.
