We ate at Shoney's Restaurant for the buffet on August 28th. I knew something was wrong when I saw the parking lot was empty at 1:00 pm. I went in and there was only 2 people and from 1:00 pm until we left at 1:45 pm, only 6 other people came in. The food was terrible - chicken dry, fish dry and even carrots were half brown which tells you they have been there a while. I went to check out and complained about food. She said we would cook you some new food. After we already had eaten. So I called next. She said she would have to check with her boss. A couple of days went by so I called again. She said all she could do is a replacement which I didn't want to get burned twice, and I wanted a refund which she said she couldn't do. So I called the corporate office in Nashville, TN, phone number ************ and told her my concern and said she would look in to it and call me back. A few days went by, so I called again. She told me all she could do is a replacement. I said I didn't want to get burned twice. She said goodbye and have a nice day and hung up. Very rude and unprofessional. So I hope you can help me with this. Enclosed copy of receipt.Business response

The day he came was a slow day for us, and he was the only complaint we had all day. I tried to make the customer happy but the more I tried he was not satisfied with what I offered. Customer kept comparing us to Golden Corral. I asked the customer what it was that he wanted but I could not offer him a refund. I even gave him corporates telephone.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: I already contacted corporate and I got worse results than dealing with the restaurant. All I am asking for is refund for the bad experience.
