On Feb 2, 2022 we had Archway Clean Sweep come to our house to perform a chimney sweep and inspection on our fireplace. They found some creosote buildup and recommended a level II inspection. The person who did the sweep said he took pictures and would send them to us. Our receipt/invoice shows a charge of $189. Our dispute is two-fold. 1) We have never received the pictures showing the condition of our chimney that he promised. 2) Our credit card charged $199, an overcharge of $10. I called the business on Feb 9, 2023 and requested to have the pictures sent and our credit card refunded. He took my mobile phone number and email and said he would send me the pictures. He also said he would refund my credit card the $10 overcharge. I called them back today, Feb 24,2023, because I still have not received the pictures or the refund. He offered to come back out and retake the pictures which we were not interested in. He then became very irate and abusive calling me and my wife idiots and me a punk, and saying we were unreasonable and just wanted to complain. He then told us he had lost the pictures and never to call him back. At this point we are requesting a partial refund of $104.50 ($94.50 plus $10 overcharge) since he can not provide the pictures he took, which are part of what we paid for, and we are not comfortable having him back in our house to finish the job because of his abusive behavior on the phone. We feel he completed the sweep but not the inspection.Business response

Sorry you weren't happy I will send you the refund that you requested 104.50 The 10.00 dollar overcharge was a lack of communication our price had changed from 189 to 199 evidently we quoted you a price before the price changed and had we realized we would have honored that at that time but still will its in the refund I'm not sure what happened with the pictures and am sorry this happened Thank you Archway clean Sweep
