August 11 2022, I paid $100 to have my car aligned. August 28 2022, took my car to Omaha Nebraska, had a camber bolt come loose on me making the wheel and strut make contact ruining both in the process. told the business about the issue, at first the owner told me it was not his problem. Later a new appointment was made so the shop could view the damage. After the owner viewed the damage he claims the bolt came loose because the tires had hit the fender and would not offer a solution.

Vehicle was lowered with aftermarket suspension. We found both rear wheels rubbing both outer quarter panels from the altered suspension and aftermarket wheels. There are also rub marks on the outside of both rear tires from the rubbing of the quarters. On the lift we found the distance between the rear shocks to wheels on both sides was very limited with the left side in question slightly closer to the wheel. The left wheel did have rub marks on the inside of the wheel all the way around the wheel. We took pictures of the wheel, and shocks on both sides as well as the outer quarters where the tires were rubbing. Customer had driven approximately 500 miles after the alignment. Customer was informed alignments are not warrantied due to outside factors that could take place of hitting potholes, curbs, large bumps, debris, etc. We pointed out the limited room the wheels had on both sides and rubbing on the quarters and a possibility of when the wheel hit the quarter it could have also jarred the shock on that side and caused the damage to the inner wheel. We relayed my technician said the alignment bolt, which customer installed himself, would have failed most likely on our test drive after alignment or soon after and would have not made it 500 miles out of state if it was not tightened properly. Customer was also complaining we damaged both of his car doors while car was in for alignment. Pictures were also taken of several dents all along both left and right doors. Customer was informed we use a 4-post lift for our alignments, not a 2-post. Therefore, posts are nowhere near either car door.

I am rejecting this response because: If the car being lowered was going to be used as a way to get out of liability then the service should have been rejected.
The tire did rub when I first put it on. As you can see in the provided picture I pulled the fender out of the way and you can not see there is no rubber on the fender where it would be rubbing to loosen the bolt.

In my complaint I mentioned nothing about paint. I was corrected in the shop and dropped it and apologized.

The car did not make it approximately 500 miles, I had to fix it in Omaha before I came home. It lasted approximately 250 miles.

How long is a test drive? How many miles did you put on the car before you deemed it to be fixed

I am rejecting this response because: you don't have a case. You didn't do the job, you refuse to try and make anything right. Terrible customer service.
