I am being held responsible for paying a outrageous water bill when there is a leak in the line. I contacted the water company and they informed me that I am not responsible for the water leak and as a renter I am only responsible for the water I use and if there is a leak in the line that is the owner's responsibility. I would like to not be charged a outrageous amount for water that I am not even using.Business response

She is not being charged for a water bill, we have given her a $300 credit. We have given her a credit for the last 3 months. We told the residents to tell us about the water leaks and if we find out about them, the residents will be charged for the water leak. We have a maintenance guy checking for water leaks and if he finds any he is fixing them. If the resident is a renter and they have a water leak and they don't notify us, they will be charged for the actual bill.
