I purchased a vehicle (used) from this dealer in 2017. They did not have the title, and should not have sold me the vehicle, and I never received the title, but more so, I have 4 open recalls, the dealer refused to fix. I had to schedule a repair over a month in advance and on the phone I was told it would be covered, and also initially at the dealership - I was told it would be covered. Upon bringing the vehicle up to the dealership - they said they would cover it due to a door handle issue, and they refused to do so and also wanted to charge me. My driver side mirror which worked prior to the issue now does not work, and it is likely due to water damage from them only replacing the door handle. I have a solid grey handle, on a solid black door which sticks out like a sore thumb, that I had to also pay for despite the latch on the door being one of the recalls that I matched to my VIN. I was given the run around and also when i got the carfax this year, it shows 2 wrecks/claims that were never disclosed to me at the time of purchase. I want the dealership to fix my door handle by making it match the original paint, and replace or repair my driver side window motor as it broke solely in their care. Extremely disappointed with customer service, every conversation was led to believe it would be fixed, and no financial cost. I even had to pay for the handle as they claimed it was working, even though the tech's working there could not open the driver side door. Extremely unprofessional mechanic department and acted like they were too busy to even take my call.

I am very sorry for the apparent misunderstanding at our dealership regarding a warranty claim.  The claim (recall) was on a door latch which we fixed.  The vehicle also had a door handle fixed that was not covered under warraty in which we only charged for the cost of the part and no labor.  There are a couple of things that do concern me however, I don't show a record of you being here as I think your mother's signiture is on the RO.  The other issue is that we show record of the title being sent.  It has been over 5 years, have you not been to the DMV yet?  If we need further discussion please feel free to call.

Hyundai replaced my engine in my car. The day after I received my car back, the engine light began coming on. Appointments were made to have the car looked at and the light would go off on its own. I called the dealership and notified them of this and asked if I still needed to come for the appointment. I was told that a diagnostic could not be done without the light on. The light goes on and off a couple more times, same thing. Finally catch the light on and it stays on to make it to the appointment for diagnostics and learn that the car with a new engine needs an intake manifold. Dealership tells me it’s not covered in the warrantied parts and explained to me that it’s the old intake manifold from the old engine. I explain to them that the light has been coming on since I received the car back and questioned if it’s possible that the part was put on wrong causing the problems. The service manager was adamant that his technicians don’t make mistakes and that I would be responsible.

The customer originally came in for engine replacement. It was covered under warranty under our current engine campaign. The car was running great when it left our building. As the customer had stated in their complaint, her problem was intermittent as the light would come and go. If my technician would have damaged something during the installation, it would have been a permanent issue.( I even personally inspected the intake manifold myself to look for any sort of technician induced damaged as I am not one to speak from an uninformed standpoint, no such evidence was found.) The intake manifolds in these cars have variable length runners that adjust accordingly to engine speed and engine load. They commonly start sticking due to carbon buildup from lack of maintenance. I explained to the customer that this intake manifold was not a warranty covered part and provided an estimate. The customer and another gentleman on the phone were very unpleasant to both my Service Advisor and Myself after learning this information.
