My wife contacted him in January 2022 and we asked if he did concrete work and he said yes. So we hired him and he came out and measured. We paid $4,960. The contract said it was due upon completion then he asked us to pay upfront so he could hire sub contractors. He came out and dug where we wanted the concrete for a patio, and we told him we wanted it the same color and form as our existing patio. He agreed to the work, but hired a subcontractor from another company. When they finished it was all rough and hard to walk in places. The concrete contractor told my wife not to worry about it and that it would smooth out once we walk on it. There is no way it can smooth out unless you walk on it for 20 years. It was also a lighter color than our existing patio. There were also leaves that were not removed when the concrete contractor was doing the work. We called Mason Logan Paving and asked if they could fix it and we were told to wait until it was warm outside. He came back between March and May of this year, and on 5/22/23 my wife texted him to see when they were coming back. On 6/2/23 He said he had gotten ahold of the concrete contractor but said he was waiting on the concrete contractor to get back with him. I asked for the name of the concrete contractor and he wouldn't provide that information. On 7/12/23 he blocked us from being able to communicate by text or email because we kept following up with him to complain. My wife is deaf and must text or email and he blocked her from doing that.Business response

I have met with the consumers. I have met with them at least five times. The subcontractor has been out also. We are planning on doing additional work for the consumers.
