Purchased replacement windshield on 2/13/2023 for $375 from Master's Glass. Was told the windshield included a lifetime warranty for repairs & chips. Recieved a very small chip that was replaceable & called company for repairs. Was told Master's Glass would cover the crack repair & they were sending someone out. When the technician got here began work outside in driveway. About 15 minutes later technician knocked on my door & said unfortunately the crack spread further while he drilled ******** I need to pay in full for a new windshield. I contacted the owner, *************************, to see if anything could be done & he was surly and belligerent. I told him i didnt feel it was fair to be on me to buy another windshield and he said "you can just find another company to fix your windshield. I only want what is fair. He did the work & then screwed it up & now he's trying to walk away.Initial Complaint

We have used this company twice. The second time we had our windshield fixed on November 11 2022 and paid $314. In the bottom corner of the driver's side a crack started there and it is about 6inches. I haven't even driven it much since they installed it. It came with a guarantee for the life of the car. We contacted them about the crack issue. They sent a gentleman out here and he said they won't replace it and we would have to pay for a whole new windshield. I asked to speak to the boss *****. The boss told me I was berating his employee, which was not the case. I was trying to ask questions and he kept cutting me off and was not getting anywhere with him. He said they won't fix the issue and sent his driver on his way. They are not doing what they guaranteed us to do and did not follow their warranty or even fix the issue.Business response

Again you have sent me a complaint that has no basis in reality. Our warranty is for air or water leakage on an installed windshield. We also stand behind factory defects in the glass (stress cracks), and technician error. This damage is none of those.The first Windshield installed for these people was to replace a windshield that had been destroyed by an unlatched hood. The second time was for the same reason. They called us back for what they said, as they reported to you, a 6 inch crack. What we found, as you can see from the pictures is substantial damage on both corners. Not a stress crack or an installation defect. Rather it appears to me as damage caused by the hood again.Customer response

The technician refused to do any work on the windshield any further, and there was no resolution. This business I would advise anyone to use.
