Short answer is "above and beyond and amazing". Every person at AMP displayed great communication, upfront answers and pricing, everything documented and clearly explained. Treated myself and family with respect and answered all our questions. AMP also assists hands on with the insurance company to make sure all paperwork is completed, accurate and mailed in time. Lastly, the work crew when roof repair happened. The crew was professional, prepared well to make sure my house and yard were not damaged and no trash was left behind.AMP Restoration and Roofing is amazing!!

*************************** came to my home and answered my questions about replacing the shingles because of hail damage, even called the insurance company to set the process in motion. He told me when the shingles would to delivered and when the roofers would be here. The roofing crew started at 6:00AM and worked until dark to complete the job, including cleanup. Very satisfied!

Amp restoration and roofing did my roof. They did not get a permit to do the work. It is still leaking which has cost a lot of damage, mold, and electrical issues. They did not put flashing on correctly, they also did not put any knock out flashing on so all the water has damaged 7 windows, and a door. They did not put gutters in all the places needed which has ruined my deck. They did not put gutter skirting where needed and it ruined 1 door. They left a hole in one of the roofing areas, that has caused damage. They told insurance that they replaced the garage and did not as we told them not to as we wanted to make it bigger. We were supposed to be given that money along with the other money that remained which was over 5000. 00. Last but not least they replaced a board on the back of the house saw all the shingles that were under it and left them. 6 layers was under the boards which should have been pulled up along with the rest of the singles and removed. I had even told them it was there and they said that they would've sure everything was done correctly. They are a fraud. I do have pictures of everything.

For context AMP ********************************************* replaced this customers roof and the detached garage roof back in 2017. This Customer received a warranty through AMP ********************************************** This warranty covers improper installation but does not cover storm damage or damage caused by animals. Every roof we replace gets replaced with a brand new GAF roofing system. Old material from any water damaged decking to shingles is replaced with brand new materials. We do not place brand new material on top of old shingles because doing so will void any installation or manufacturer warranties from us, or our shingle manufacturer, GAF. For further context AMP ********************************************* takes photos of the entire exterior of any home before and after the job is complete to prove to insurance carriers that work has been completed and to document any material that was not replaced and ensure customers cant make false claims that our crew damaged anything that wasnt already damaged before our crew worked on the property.For context, this is our response to the complaint received from this past client of ours. It contains context not in this review but from the complaint she left, which has since been resolved.The customer states she had a hole in her roof that let animals in, which caused serious electrical and structural issues within her home, and mold. So, a hole that is big enough to let in animals has to be made either by an animal, extreme *********************** that has gone unaddressed for an extended period of time or by a moving object that has enough velocity and mass to penetrate the roof, i.e. a meteor. All of these reasons are not covered by the installation warranty from AMP. Extreme deterioration or animals are the most logical answers for a hole this size. Deterioration is ruled out because her roof is only 8 years old, also AMP was told about this hole in 2022 by State Farm when an agent called our office, so this hole had to have been made while the roof was only 6 years old, so deterioration is not the culprit for the hole. This leaves us with only one cause left, that this hole in her roof was caused by an animal(s). As stated previously, damage caused by animals is not covered by our installation warranty. The customers claim that we are the cause of this hole is false.Customer states we did not put on flashing correctly, specifically knock out and chimney flashing. There is no such thing as knock out flashing, any person with access to the internet can find that out and the results will pull up counter flashing. This homeowners claim that a door and 7 windows are damaged because of the lack of counter flashing, is false. She might have mistaken knock out flashing for counter flashing, but counter flashing is used to cover the small gap between a shingled surface and a wall of a structure. Counter flashing keeps water from leaking into that gap, this prevents damage to the siding and decking. The counter flashing does end at the top of two windows on the 1st floor of the front face of the home, but counter flashing is not designed nor used to protect moisture from leaking in behind a window or a door. Also, AMP does not replace windows, doors or the door wrap or the window wrap; anytime an insurance carrier pays for these to be repaired or replaced we give this money back to the homeowner. This customer also does not have a chimney, they have what is called a furnace vent, we did not replace the flashing around this vent because to do anything that involves a furnace vent you need an HVAC certification and AMP does not have one and nor do we want one. Any and all funds allocated to repair or replace this were given back to the homeowner.With regards to the gutters, State Farm paid for the detach and reset of the gutters. Inspection photos by not only our team but the Insurance carrier during the initial inspection, combined with photos we sent to ********** to prove that the job was completed, show that the location of the gutters never changed. Also, gutters are not attached to your roof to prevent moisture from traveling up behind the back of the shingle. The purpose of having gutters is to prevent water that is running down the roof from plummeting into the dirt and creating a hole in your yard through the process of erosion. The homeowner claims we did not put on gutter skirting and that it was the cause of a door being ruined. A quick ****** search will reveal that there is no such thing as gutter skirting and what pulls up is drip edge. Not having drip edge would not cause damage to a door because drip edge will never be in close proximity to a door anywhere, on any home. The homeowner claims that we did not do the facial board correctly after we broke it. I believe the homeowner meant fascia board. This repair does fall under the labor warranty this customer had with AMP ********************************************** But whether or not this is true, we will never know, 5 years have passed since her labor warranty ended. It makes no sense for a homeowner to wait this long to complain about a repair we never heard about on a roof we completed in 2017 and under normal circumstances if a fascia board was broken before install, we wouldnt have even installed it then.The customer claims that in some places we did not install drip edge, that we only installed it where it can be seen. Drip edge is installed to redirect **************** from going in between the shingles and fascia. There are different types of drip edge that are installed on different parts of a roof. The drip edge installed in between the shingle and gutters is going to look different than the drip edge installed in between the fascia and shingles. We Believe this part of the complaint to be a misconception on the customers part on what drip edge is exactly and what it looks like. The homeowner might be mistaking what is actually drip edge to be fascia, thinking drip edge wasnt installed, this is pretty easy to do if the fascia and drip edge are the exact same color. The homeowner claims we did not get a permit to even do the work. Each construction job requires its own individual permit, to acquire a permit you must be a licensed contractor within the state that that permit is given in. Each permit has its own individual permit number and reference number. Now we no longer have this information because we no longer work in the state of *******, we havent for a couple years now, we work exclusively in the states of ** and **. For this next part of the complaint some context is needed about this particular customer. This context can be viewed as us making stuff up about this customer but will make sense if you read the entirety of the customers complaint and analyze it. Below I will quote the last few sentences of the customers complaint that have not been addressed previously. The customer states: Also they did not do the garage roofing but on their paperwork they stated they did. They also did not give me the leftover money that they were supposed to give me to do other work. I did hire an attorney and he only went after the roof and the money that they never gave me. So I fired him and talked to another lawyer and he stated to try to talk to the company or bbb to get it fix before thing to get a trial rule 60 done. That is where you amend the judgement. Also I do have pictures and documents to prove everythingWe did in fact replace her garage roof as well, both her homes roof and garage roof got the same shingle, GAF- Timberline HDZ Weathered Wood. The owner of AMP ********************************************* handed her a check, for work we did not do, himself. Combine both the knowledge that she is a known abuser of painkillers with the fact that we handed her a check and we get the result that she tried to sue AMP ********************************************* with no legal representation, as she stated above. The customer also states above that her case was dismissed, even though she claimed she has pictures and documents to prove everything. Clearly, we did as well and we proved in a court of law that we did nothing wrong.AMP ********************************************* is A+ rated with the BBB, is a Master Elite Certified Contractor with GAF, is a member and partner of the Chesterfield Regional Chamber, and we have 4.8/5 stars on ****** with over 220 5-Star reviews. AMP ********************************************* isnt perfect but if we make a mistake then we fix it because we warranty our work, and our reputation speaks for that.

This company was awesome. They were very professional and courteous during the whole project. They worked with my insurance company, scheduled all appointments based on my schedule, showed up when they said they would and finished the job on schedule. Would definitely recommend this company to friends and family. In fact, I already have.
