1 starMcbride is the worst; they have so many issues with their builds and brick walls to keep out your agent, so you can't be represented. Never call on a McdBride HOME; you MUST contact your agent first!!! They will need to babysit your build!! No pride, McBride just does not care about their clients. They will easily go on and manipulate their next unsuspecting homeowners. Horrible to work with, I had to leave a one star, or it would have been a negative #Review fromTyler H

1 starSTAY AWAY FROM NO PRIDE MCBRIDE!This has been a horrible experience. We bought our home in Jan. ** 2024. We paid $331k for what I would say is a $250k t*** I dont think I can look at a single thing in my home that has a few upgrades and say it is quality. On our closing day walk through all the rock under the driveway had settled. Very little was still touching the driveway. They said they would put more rock under it. After a ton of back and forth, they replaced part of the driveway only for the rock to settle again but not as extreme this time. They wont fix it though because concrete settles, as long as its not uneven its fine. Back to our closing walk-through, they rush you through everything so you cant see all the defects but one of the other major things I noticed was a column severely out of plumb. I pointed it out and I was blown off. Fast forward to Dec 2024, and were now going back and forth to come to a solution of either fixing it or a letter from an engineer. Continuing, once we moved in I started noticing all the defects in ALL the craftsmanship and materials. Things that are supposed to be upgraded such as cabinets are absolute junk, handles fall off the shower in the master, and the tape job on the walls is the worst quality Ive ever seen. You can see where every s**** is and nearly every joint and thats with their cheap flat paint. I cant wait to see what it looks like with satin paint. The A/C doesn't cool properly. The floors are uneven, my lights dim whenever the washer is on, cold air pours in through the windows, insulation was low, my roof had exposed nails and open holes from removed screws, my private walk has been replaced twice and is in bad shape again, my patio has been replaced once and its sinking again. A second replacement was denied because I had put up my forms for my patio extension. My yard keeps sinking.If they come to fix something there is no quality. I could go on but Im out of room. 1 starThe people they contract the work out to do not follow industry standards. Plumbing (incorrectly done leading to drainage issues/terrible), AC/heating unit (incorrectly installed), roof (insurance companies will not replace when you need a new roof within 5 years of building your home due to the fact that they installed the roof incorrectly). 1 starNO PRIDE McBRIDE~as they are known in the construction industry~NOW I KNOW WHY! Find yourself another builder!!! I wish Id have read these reviews prior to placing my trust in this joke of a construction company! We built in ***********, in *********************** closed on our house Sept 25th, 2024. Not even 6 weeks later, Nov. 4-5th, 2024, during heavy rainfallour drain sewer erupted, filling our entire basement! Come to find out, this happened to 8 of our close proximity neighbors during the last heavy rainfall in July, 2024, prior to our homes completion! During the last rainfall, 4 of our homes took on water! BRAND NEW HOMES!!! This is not OK! We paid $455k for brand new *********************************** is taking ZERO RESPONSIBILITY-they have been rude & discompassionate! They are trying to claim its MSDs (Missouri Sewer Districts problem) MSD doesnt even OWN the sewer lines, yet! McBride is STILL building houses in our subdivision & has not released the sewer lines to MSD! McBride told us to contact our insurance, saying this is NOT covered by our 12 MONTH HOME WARRANTY!! We are about ready to take further appropriate public & legal action! Not to mention the **** QUALITY of their construction of the interior of our home! Their warranty is a JOKE! Their subcontractors are less than sub-par!!!They just point fingers at the other guys. ******** business! Save yourself a world of trouble by selecting a different builder! taking further action if McBride does not take responsibility & FIX the sewer line issues, promptly! We cannot worry at every rainfall that our basements will continue to flood!!! What about vacations? THIS IS NOT OKAY McBRIDEMAKE IT RIGHT!!!Review fromValerie F

1 starWe have found multiple errors in our home that was built in 1995 in **************** **. 1st we asked for a right hand house, but they built a left hand house. They did not out adequate drains on our gutters all around our house, we have water overflowing in the back if our house which has caused sinkage in the ************** leakage in the basement that caused mold. We also have nail pops that showed up after the 6 month repair time frame. 1 starDoor nobs falls off, cheap paint job, cheap appliances, HOA is a nightmare. Repairs takes forever if done at all.Sod put down on rock no dirt so it dies. No rebarb in garage or driveways shower handle falls off. Very cheap kitchen cabinets. Been here for months and looking to sell.Would never recommend to anyone.Review fromJack K

Terrible investment for families. Id never recommend them ever. Driveway sunk after 1 year and 3 months from a terrible job of compacting and letting it settle. Built the bathroom wall off by 6 inches causing sliding glass door problems. Take your loan and look unless where. No driveway should be under a year warranty. They just try to weasle around everything they do and blame it on you or something else.

We close on our new home less than a year ago. The moment that the last home closed, McBride was out of here. Everybody in the subdivision that Ive spoken with is dissatisfied with the way they left our subdivision. Everything is in disarray and the *** company tree stone is **** We went from excited about our new home to thinking about selling it. Disappointment Mc Bride Homes turned out to be.McBride Homes

Bought appliances from McBride thinking that they would back them up well they dont . They installed the ** refrigerator when they built my home. The thing has never worked right now. Its been a month and a half and the freezer went out works when it once to the top part stays in the warm its been seven days now McBride has done absolutely nothing but give me the runaround. They say that I have to go through ** they say I have to go through McBride. I am a diabetic and I need to keep my insulin refrigerated so far $5000 worth of medication has been ruined and nobody will take the blame for it. I feel as though they take advantage of senior citizens and they push them around making someone go without a refrigerator in 100 weather while you have diabetes medication no food thanks McBride for nothingMcBride Homes
