  I had lasic surgery in 2008 at the chesterfield office with a lifetime warranty. Starting to have blurred vision and tightness on my eyes. Called my office and every call goes to a call center and they tell me we can't get appt. Only for new patients. Said I had to go see my doctor to get my eyes checked then upload their forms to them. What's the purpose of having a lifetime warranty if your not checking my eyes when I have a problem! The call center tells you it's new procedure because of covic. But when asked if they are still taking new patients and still doing procedures the answer was yes. So the older customers jump through hoops to be seen, and the new patients get in to the office to get seen. This is unexceptable when you've already paid your hard earned money to them.

  This letter is being sent in response to the above-referenced complaint filed by ***** ******
  (“Complainant”) with the Better Business Bureau.
  Complainant received a Lasik procedure on April 30, 2008 and an enhancement on February 9, 2009 at the 
  TLC Laser Eye Center in St. Louis, MO. The entities that owned and operated the TLC Laser Eye Centers declared 
  bankruptcy in 2020 and no longer exist. Kismet New Vision Holdings, LLC acquired some of the interests, including 
  the TLC Laser Eye Center at issue, and no operates them. Complainant’s Lifetime Acuity Plan is still honored. 
  However, TLC does not provide general optometric care and the guarantee never extended to such care. 
  Complainant has been told repeatedly that his potential medical issues must be addressed by his optometrist as 
  TLC does not perform general eye exams. Complainant, again, is encouraged to see a licensed optometrist to 
  determine what issues he is having and otherwise seek appropriate medical care. If his optometrist has any 
  questions, TLC can coordinate with the optometrist.
