I was told and also according to their website that 3 weeks I would have my CDL. It has been 3 months and I am not even close to having my CDL. They have 2 trainers and the one trainer is not personable at all and neither one has provided me any training. There is always an excuse that the truck is not there, they told me they can't teach me memory. I was told I need to memorize these things 90% before they would even teach me the driving part. For 3 months, they haven't even taught me about the memory part. This is not what I signed up for and was told this is an accredited place. I don't believe their training method has been approved. They gave me some videos to watch and a piece of paper to learn. The words in the video don't match the words on the paper. I am not brushed up on memorization and they told me to make que cards and it is all wrong. Their whole training method is not accredited. I thought this was a legit college, taught the procedures to learn and memorize like a professional place.
I would like my money back $4,440.00.

2/3/2023 i meet with professional trucking institute. I paid ***** and *** a $900.00. check. They committed to provide me cdl training in an automatic truck in which I would be tested at a cdl testing center within 2 weeks. They committed to pretrip, maneuvers, road test, and truck rental. we would start on the week of Feb. 13. and told me I would be tested on the 16 or 17. the nature of the dispute is that i called them on the 13th to plan the week of training and they reneged on my schedule saying it would be a month or month and a half or so. I said I paid them specifically for the test day on the 16th or 17th. I went to their test center. they claimed I would have to know my pretrip 99% correct, me and *** took the test i missed one small minor detail. a VERY minor detail. they then told me it would be a month and a half til they would be able to get me trained by ***, and use the truck for a cdl test. the true reason why they are pushing me back is because their intern. auto. truck does not hold air. The cdl test requires a truck insp./leakage test. Their blue auto. intern. truck and trlr does not hold air. it would not pass the less than 4 psi leakage rate. I know for fact it leaks because on 2/3/23 I drove the truck for a maneuvers test so they could determine what price. *** spent ***** minutes revving up the engine so the gear driven air compressor could build up more air than it was leaking up to the 125 cut-out. I used the truck for the maneuvers and after pressing/using the brake 3-4 times the truck low air warning signal light buzzer came on (60 psi-ish). a semi truck and trailer should not even come close to a low air warning signal in that situation. it was obvious that the truck had a problem....I told them this, they both said it would be fixed. WHY would I pay for schooling where the truck would not pass inspection and a cdl test date that is a month and a half out? they lied to my face. on the 13th they agreed to a refund, I have not received.
