Shield xteriors replaced our siding with John Hardy siding. During the installation the installers drove a nail into the freon line of the air conditioning unit. The owner, ***** **********, came to the house and took pictures of the punctured line. The interior wall had to be opened up to access the freon lines. The air conditioner was repaired. The wall was repaired. The bills were submitted to Shield Xteriors. We have not received reimbursement and the owner does not return calls or contact us in any way.Business response

We did receive the invoice from the consumer for the air conditioning. I thought the reimbursement check was sent out to the consumer. I will check on it and if it wasn't, I will make sure they are taken care ofCustomer response

I am rejecting this response because: I will not accept anything until reimbursement is actually received. The business has not been responsive to texts and phone calls. I won't believe it until I am actually reimbursed.

The complaint has not been resolved. We have not been reimbursed for the repairs for the damage that was done to our air conditioning system when the siding was installed by Shield Xteriors.

09/27/2022: Mediator sent an email to the consumer requesting an update. [CR] This company owes us $2487.35 for wall repair and A/C repairs. They said they sent the check but we have never received it, nor have they reached out to us.
12/05/2022: I am willing to proceed with arbitration.
