I am the owner of ********************************** in ********, **. We purchase grain handling equipment and storage and sell and install to the end user. I contacted Hunter ********************** back in early spring for a price on 2 grain legs. Other manufacturers lead times were out until early fall (September). We got the prices from them and was told their lead times were currently 4-5 weeks. Customer said that was great, lets put the order in. For the order to be processed, they require a 50% down payment. After several days, we finally received the invoice and immediately sent the 50% down payment check. It was cashed and everything seemed to be in order. Around the 4-5 week lead time we started asking about the product and things seemed to be on time within reason according to *********************. Beginning of July, in a phone call, **** said we are a couple days away from finishing and will have trucks under them and should have delivered the end of the week. So we went ahead and started taking down the old product we were replacing. We waited and waited and called and kept getting the story of just a couple more days or next week, etc. *** called and called and eventually ********************* just started texting and no phone calls anymore. September 19 **** texted me and said they were purchasing the parts needed to finish from a different supplier and it would be two weeks to get the parts and get the legs finished up and ready to deliver. That day has came and gone and the last couple messages I received were very defensive when requesting an update so I can update my customer. Ever since that day I have not heard anything back. No phone calls, texts, or emails. On May 2, 2022, I had sent a check for $45,859.73 and we have not got anything at all for that payment. Now I have a customer without product and is losing business as they cannot receive grain.Business response

I am rejecting this response because:********************* has been avoiding calls and texts from Western ******** *****Systems as well as our customer, which is the end user, for many weeks. He has given ** NO proof of any issues with suppliers. This was ordered back in May and there is no other company in this same industry having these problems that he claimed back in early fall. Since then we have had no contact with any proof from suppliers.
