I went there with my five children. We stayed for a week and half until my house was ready. My child got an eye infection from roaches and germs. There was a lot of filth in this place.Business response

Hello,
It is our hope and intention at the Welcome Inn to have a deep level of care for guests on all levels. If you did not experience care from our staff during your stay, I am so so sorry to hear that. And we also hope that our guests will exhibit that same amount of care towards us and our property. Attached are some of the pictures taken from your room upon your departure that shows care was not given reciprocally in this situation. One of our partners here in the community is Love Columbia and they are the ones that paid for your stay and so refunding you the money would not be an accurate thing to do as that organization is who paid for your stay. I will be consulting with them on whether or not they want to be refunded the money that they put forth for your stay. We do wish you all of the best in caring for your five children.

This individual was arrested last night and so while we don't know the other side to this whole story, it does seem like there is quite a bit more at play than what either BBB or us at the Welcome Inn are privy to. We do care about taking care of our guests and so if there is something you think we should do to remediate this situation, we would love your advice on what to do. Thanks!

Renting a room while working in Columbia the room was full of bugs and dirty when I moved in i cleaned it myself because they where full and had no other rooms the bug problem was never fixed even when I bought my own bug bombs it helped more then the exterminator when I checked out I didn't have a way to move my stuff because my truck was in the shop after speaking with management and being told my property would be held for 30 days a few days later I returned to get my stuff to be told it was thrown away the day before when they fired the manager. They took no care in any documents with sensitive information of not only me but sub contractors and in house employees automobile titles insurance paperwork bank accounts information my Xbox was with that stuff and has since been online letting me know people have my stuff
