    On 9/18/22 I ate with a friend at the McAlisters location in ********, **. On 9/21/22 a charge cleared on my bank debit card for $30.13 - part of this charge included tip, I dont have an exact amount of the tip. Almost a month later a charge was pending again from McAlisters for the same exact amount from the same restaurant and I had NOT gone to eat there since the 9/18/22 date. I thought the pending charge *** go away but it then cleared on 10/11/22 - again for the same amount I spent on 9/18/22 - for $30.13. I called the store to talk to a manager and let them know on 10/11/22 - I spoke with the assistant manager. I thought surely it was a glitch in their batch system and I had thought that I wouldnt be the only person it happened to. The assistant manager called me back on 10/12/22 to get more information for them to look up. I didnt hear back and called on 10/14/22 to see any progress, this time talking to the manager. She did say that other persons called and said the same thing happened on the same date of service and that their corporate office was looking into it. I never heard back again so I called on 10/20/22 a week later and spoke with the manager AGAIN. She told me that they are still waiting for Freedom Pay to look into and she was advised to tell me to just dispute with my bank. So I had to AGAIN deal with their problem and went through my bank instead of them fixing the problem this seems like a very good way for the business to NOT address the double-charging of possibly hundreds of customers. Some customers *** have NOT noticed the double charge and if I have had to call multiple times with no solution, I doubt those other customers are getting their money back either. Very disappointed with a problem that could have been quickly handled and credited back to the people that were double charged. Two weeks after the problem and no credit from McAlisters, no explanation and I had to cancel my bank card and wait for a new one in the mail
