I paid to have Mac Wilson Plumbing go to my residence on August 31, 2021. (I was out of state and did not have someone residing there at the time). I received an email stating that the main drain line, the washing machine drain line, the washer valves, and the T&P drain had been fixed with no issues. I paid the invoiced $2100 on that day. I had a tenant move in on October 15, 2021, and he discovered that the washing machine drain line was not only still clogged but the washing machine drain, the washer vales, and the T&P had not been replaced. I sent an email on October 19th and was informed that the owner would go out and check on the work. The owner met with my mother on October 20th and discovered that the work had not been done at all. After a couple of weeks of trying to get feedback, they came out on November 4th and discovered there was a clog. It would have to be moved to following Monday, in which my tenant took another day off work (two days without pay at this point). The hole was dug, water heater moved and basic pipes installed but work was not completed. The company said they would call but we have had no communication since that time (it is Nov 15). We had to call another plumbing company to come out, unclog drain lines. There is still a hole with uncompleted work. The company has not attempted to reach out at all. In addition, we discovered that the wrong main drain line was installed. Rather than replacing the metal drain line (with a clean-out valve due it being an older home) with a similar metal drain with clean-out valve ($10 more), a plastic drain was installed that does not allow for a clean-out valve. As such, we cannot run a camera through the drain and discover potential sewer issues and will have to pay to rip out the drain and reinstall one that will work for an older home. At this stage, I am requesting a full refund for us to pay another company to repair existing work, rip out the wrong drain, and repair everything correctly.Customer response
