      Nothing but a run around. I bought a defective coffee maker / grinder. They had me cut up the cord and send pics for proof with the promise of a refund. Six months still no refund and they don't answer emails any more.Dissapointed PC

      I received the PowerXL 5qt Vortex Classic Air Fryer as a birthday gift on 5/10/2023. I have used the item a total of 3 times. I found the unit was no longer working exactly one month after receiving the item (6/10/2023). I plugged the device into different outlets but it will not turn on at all. I looked up the item online and also confirmed with the gift giver that he purchased it from Target. I read the review for the item and there are hundreds of low star ratings and reviews describing the exact same issue. Many of the users had it for several months when it broke. I have only had it for ONE MONTH. I do not have the box or receipt so I cannot return it. I contacted the company today 6/12 to see if there was any option. They will only refund/replace with proof of purchase. I really did not expect any different, but I am just angry that this company is still selling this product when there is an obvious defect with the item. I feel as if this is FRAUD and taking advantage of the consumers by selling a faulty product that breaks and most people do not have the proof of purchase to return it. I am not alone and I feel like this is a scam against the buyer. This company has horrible reviews across different social media platforms and websites. There must be something that can be done to prevent this company from making more money on these broken air fryers.

      Ordered a PowerXL vacuum sealer 4/16/23 (Sunday). Within minutes of receiving the order confirmation, I called the number to cancel the order. The man told me it takes 8 hours for an order to hit the system. I set an 8-hour timer. When I called back, they were closed. I immediately sent an email with the words "cancel order." I received an email at 9:19 am CST Monday morning saying it was too late, and I would have to refuse shipment. No idea if I would get back the processing and shipping fees. I could not have acted faster. Therefore, this company will not allow cancelled orders. Note: my receipt states 4/17/23 as my order date making the ability to cancel more unreasonable. Note: the email address references both Empower Brands and Spectrum Brands causing confusion. [email removed] Other contacts: [website and 2nd email removed] This company seems to prey on people by making returns/exchanges difficult in order to boost product sales. I have not received the product, but this poor experience leads me to expect a poor quality product (assuming will cut corners to boost revenue). I hope this reaches and helps people make smart choices (do not order unless you really want it). Some other key words to help people find this review. Empower Brands, LLC is a subsidiary of Spectrum Brands Holdings. The Spectrum Brands Holdings is traded under the SPB ticker on the NYSE. Business address: **** ****** *** ********** ** *****. PowerXL was purchased in February 2022 from Tristar Products, Inc. The PowerXL profits are stated in the SPB 10K under the HPC Brand Portfolio Transitions segment. They also have an animal division and a household division, but I don't have enough characters.

      Hot Shot Bait claims to attract and kill ants. It doesn't do either. I paid less than four dollars for it but it didn't work. Don't buy it.

      I wish I could post pics. Ruined my yard. Killed the grass when it's for weeds in grass? Weird because weeds are still there! I really hope someone contacts me so I can show pics
