On September 24, 2022 I had a signed agreement for ***** ***** of Gregg’s foundation repair to repair my foundation. As agreed upon on the 24, sept. 2022 I gave a forty percent deposit, twenty thousand, on this fifty thousand dollar job. The job was to achieve a total foundation repair and prevention of fuller damage. It involved but not limited to excavate and grading, exterior foundation, repair interior walls, water proofing, replace basement floor with bracings on walls and support beams/ poles for foundation of the house. He was also to cut new opening and instal two large egress windows. Work was to start the first week of November and to last thirty days from the first day of work. I was told he had a crew, liability insurance and a business license. I checked his standing with the BB he currently enjoys an A+ with the BB. *** ***** did not start work until November 22, 2022. He would come and go separately but most often did not show up. Ultimately the few times he did show up and worked he caused great damage to the integrity of the structure of the house. He left very large open ditches without any safety precautions including zero placement of caution tape. He demolished a concrete patio leaving sharp metal pointing up here and there again no safety pro caution. He created a large unsupported opening in an already failing foundation wall which greatly weaken the house foundation. He demolished 3/4 of the basement floor again leaving no safety pro caution. *** ***** did all of this damage over a two month period then stop showing up. Refused to provide his liability insurance and refused to provide a resolution. I tried multiple times to work with him even offered to pay him take whatever supplies with receipts and requested the return the rest of the deposits. I received no rational response. He did tell me he has an **** truck. I want my deposits returned and be done with him. I don’t even want him to pay for damages. Just return my deposit. I kept track of the days he worked and when he didn’t show. I have pictures, all the communication via text messages and other company estimates. Also, a list of completed work done by *** *****. An unnecessary window well, a seal plate and excavation of exterior north wall. That is the totality of his completed work.

I am working on his complaint. I have done several projects already, She is just upset that she had to wait for the weather and the amount of work needing to be done in her small timeline. She is asking for more work done than was quoted. She has told me not to come back to her property. My tools are in her possession at her home, but she threatened me to not return to her home, breaching the contract. She requested a full cash refund, and my insurance information to file against my insurance company.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:
*** ***** has made no attempt in in form to resolve this matter. I have made several attempts via text message to resolve this matter and offered to receive less money by accepting the supplies he claimed he bought. After multiple attempts and no response or not showing up at the job site until this very date of 03-31-2023 I had no choice but to tell him he is in breech of contract I want my deposit back. Lastly he did not complete not even one task or any element of this contract job.  There was nothing added to this job and no new request of him to perform on this job. The time line was established by *** ***** as stated on the contract. I want my deposit return and the information to his liability insurance. I am in contact with an attorney and will proceed accordingly..

      Thank you

      Regards,

      ****** ********
