    I have a signed contract for work to be done at a rental property that we own at *** ***** ****** ***** **. That contract specifies that the front porch would be removed as part of the foundation work that was being done by Pep. Pep subbed it out twice. (I was told this by an employee of Pep's.) They didn't remove the front porch as contracted. It was approximate 5' x 6' with two steps coming down to the walk. The porch was tied into the foundation. Due to the dryness this summer, there was cracking in the porch. They dug down into the footing and jacked it up, but they didn't remove the porch as contracted. I paid a deposit of $2430.00 to Pep. The work is not completed, and the porch is hanging there. They also knocked the corner off the porch when they were excavating. They also didn't tell me that they were subbing it out either. The house is currently occupied and this is a safety concern for me and for the tenants.

    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They tried to install about 35 feet of French drain by just laying it ON THE SURFACE of the ground and hiding their shoddy work by covering it with gravel. I had them tear out the incorrectly installed pipe and they did refund my $400 deposit. I contacted the owner (****) who promised to come out to my work site and personally oversee a new installation. I was to be contacted by **** after she inspected my site. I NEVER heard back from the owner. PEP is unprofessional and unethical. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

    ************ is exactly right! My guys failed in the initial install and incorrectly proceeded with the repair plan even though they should have not proceeded as contracted due to non-typical site of additional concrete that needed extracted and was not included in the original price/contract requiring additional charges. I had a conversation with ************ over the phone in regards to the improper act of my crew in their "attempt" and apologized, therefore warranted the return of his down deposit. Although, I did get approval from ************ to review the jobsite myself as a more experienced troubleshooter and submit a price for additional charges to properly full-fill his request and proper installation to handle his water problems. He gave me approval and to proceed forth was hinging on additional costs. To-date, I have not had time to review the site as I am down on employees, as many other companies, and I have spent everyday installing on jobsites with other crews to stay on schedule with existing customers...forgive me but I am doing everything in my power to be in many places at once!! I do understand that ************ has been waiting for a response from me but in my defense my only failure was I knew I needed to communicate with him more of my hectic schedule and every intention in doing so. Open communication does go along way! I will be in touch with ************ as soon as possible in regards to this matter!!
