I hired *************************** to do a landscaping job for me in June, 2022. I provided a deposit of $1,638 so he could purchase plants. He said he could do the job in early July. He cashed the check on July 6, 2022. He texted that he would be here the week of July 18, 2022. He continued to respond to my requests for a committed date until July 19, 2022 saying he would be here Thursday or Friday. On Thursday I texted him with no response. I called and texted virtually every day after that without a response. My husband called on July 28, 2022 and he answered (presumabley because he didn't know the number). He said he would call him back in an hour, but didn't call and now won't answer his call either. He has stolen $1,638 from us and we want it back.Customer response

Here is an email that I sent to Business with no response.. details provided. Hi *****.. I have made many attempts to contact you about our Landscape Project. With this frustration, we have decided to pursue other options for our landscape project. Please let me know when I can expect a refund of our $1927.00 that we already paid you for: Refund reasons outlined below. 1) No Work or Follow Up has been completed.--Initial Meeting was 4/10. Work was to be started Mid-End of May and promised by you. 2) We initially paid for a Design (which an explanation was sketchy at best).. for $750.. which was promised 1 week from our initial meeting. Many contacts have been made to no avail. This needs to be refunded to. We have received NOTHING. Please let me know ASAP what the next step is and the expectation for a full refund. Again.. NO WORK HAS BEEN COMPLETED. NOTHING HAS BEEN RECEVIED FOR WHAT WE PAID FOR. There have been Many Emails, Phone Calls, Texts Messages, and Voicemails left with NO RESPONSE AT ALL. No work has been provided to me. I cannot get a response at all.. I tried to give a benefit of the doubt.. but I cannot do business like this. We have made other plans and need a refund.Business response

I have mailed him a refund. This complaint should be closed as resolved.
