Looks like Anton's bought out ***** ******* ****. I paid for a maintenance agreement with ***** ******* where annual maintenance visits were $65, and it is still in effect. I paid for it on 7/20/2020, and it expires on 7/20/2023. But Anton's is not honoring it. They said I would be charged $89 for my upcoming annual AC maintenance. I can't imagine trusting them with my business going forward if they're not honoring contracts with customers. I'd like a refund of the $60 I paid for this maintenance plan.

The business came to bid out a plumbing job for rehab in April 2022. After agreeing on the invoice of about $20,000. The work start. Rough in went well although delayed. I paid as instructed per agreement. They are supposed get a final inspection and then I pay a balance of $300 but now insist they want more money. This coming after additional jobs of over $12,300 due to a flooding basement (Not their fault but they absolutely took advantage of the situation). They abandoned the job for almost 6months and fast forward to a year they try at every turn to either have me pay more than agreed or come up with a reason why its my fault despite the lack of communication on their part.**** the owner is a pathological liar and I regret having any conversations with him without recording it. He promised so many things to get the job but as soon as he did, he disappeared and became hostile whenever I reach out.At this point, I just want them to do the inspection, pass and collect their $300 balance. They are threatening not to do that until I pay more money.

In June of 2021 come out and give us a quote for some plumbing work that needed to be done in our basement as well as some plumbing work that needed to be done on our main level due to us redoing our kitchen. We then had them come out in August to do the basement work. Everything went great. At that time our kitchen was torn out and we figured out that our entire kitchen needed to have the plumbing redone. So, we contracted PE to do this work. After our appointment being pushed out several times because emergencies took place and they were super busy, ***** came out and did the job for us in September. He figured out quickly that we had some stability issues in our ceiling so he fixed that and continued to work on the plumbing. The job was complete that day. Everything seemed to be working well. We paid our bill and we were told we could button up our ceiling. We did this and then also installed our new cabinets. A week later my daughter took a bath upstairs and our ceiling flooded. The brand new ceiling came crashing down. I called and spoke with **** that night and after speaking he had Rob come out the following day. He discovered that the overflow drain was not connected to the tub so when the water was emptied out of the bathtub it drained into our ceiling. They fixed the problem and told me that they would not turn it into insurance and would write a check to cover the ceiling repairs. I have text and emailed the repair invoice 7 times and spoke with the office every week since November. I continue to be told that **** is handling it and sending the payment out. Every time I call this is the response I get. **** will send the payment and will call you. Still nothing. After 5 months of dealing with this, we would just like it to be complete. We would like our $750 refund and have that be that.

I’m sorry for the misunderstanding and the time gap you have experienced. I have been out a few months ago for several months and was not aware of this issue.  After finding out about your request I had to speak to the people on the job and verify your request to approve a refund. There was no photos and the plumber that did the work no longer works here so finding out details took some time to verify.

Your refund was issued last week before the snow storm we had by USPS, before you filed this complaint.
please watch your mail and we would appreciate removing this post I answered your request. Please accept my apologies for the delay investigating and validating your refund request.

We at Plumbing Experts apologize for any inconvenience you experienced.

      Thank you,

Thank you for your response.  It is appreciated.  We did receive your check that was sent out after our complaint was made and we appreciate that.  Unfortunately, it was made out to ****** *****.  My name is ****** **** and ***** is ***** *****.  I called on Friday to ask that the check be replaced with ***** or ***** ***** and I was told that the check was made out to the person the invoices went to.  I went back and looked at those invoices and it was in fact ***** they were sent to.  Please replace the check with a ***** ***** check and let us know what you would like us to do with the other check.  Once this situation has been completed then I will remove the complaint.

I had a plumbing job done by the Plumbing Experts the backfill was done wrong now water is in my basement. So the city of Florissant has come out and ordered Plumbing Experts to pour rock and backfill with 3.5 inches of concrete the company has not done so my floor is open. This has been going on for five weeks. I would like for the company to give me back half the money I have paid them for doing half the job.

      Mrs. ****,

We agreed to replace your concrete patch because you do not think it is satisfactory.  We have agreed to do this, on our cost, however you have ground water that is causing a issue with part of the trench that is unforeseen and not included in our bid price to you.  Upon completing the patch, we will have final inspection from City of Florissant for the work contracted.  If you water problem continues and or causes leaking thru the seams where we do the patch, this will void us coming back to do any work due to this and will need to be fixed by you hiring us or another contractor to install drain tile and or a sump pump.

We have recently spoke to the inspector and are awaiting their response to continue the finish.

We will contact you once we hear from the City of Florissant and will schedule the return visit to replace the concrete patch that was made with a new concrete patch.

Antons was contracted to clean and service our heating system however the unit was not cleaned and the very next day we had no heat we called them and they came out and said it was faulty switches That might need to be replaced however they did get the system to run the next day the heat went out again and we called another company to come out and they advised us that the flame sensor was corroded and had not been cleaned and that was the reason for the problem they subsequently cleaned the unit And it has been working fine ever since. Back in the spring I paid them $160 to clean our unit and service the unit in the winter and in the spring and I have advised them that their services are no longer required At our home and I asked them to refund at least half of that since I will not be using it in the spring they have not complied with this request. We had problems last fall when they came out and told us we needed a new inducer motor for our unit and the motor and the labor fees would be $1800 however again I called somebody else who advised me that the motor was under warranty and they removed that motor and got a new motor free of charge and replaced it in less than 30 minutes for only $200. Antons did not tell me even when I questioned them that the warranty was still in affect however one day before the warranty was set to expire they did email me and tell me yes it’s under warranty but that expires tomorrow. I feel like this company is dishonest and they have some unethical practices and standards I am still seeking a refund for the $160 I paid them since when they came out they did not do the job and will not be coming back in the spring to do anything
