A few years ago, we entered a contract for a new deck with the **** Davis office serving a portion of ******************************. We later learned of a material construction defect and brought it to their attention. They sent a manager out to see the issue, and they agreed to pay for having it fixed by a different contractor, so things started out nice enough. Only they reneged on paying for it once the work was finished. Given the local office was stiffing us, we reached out to the corporate office but to no avail. After multiple attempts to resolve it, we had no choice but to pursue it through the courts (our first time suing anyone in our lives). The court entered a Default Judgment against *************** LLC which owned the local **** Davis franchise we were working with...look it up on Casenet in ***************************************...search *************** LLC as this is the franchise owner and defendant in our litigation.On that point, tor anyone thinking of using **** Davis, please understand that you are working with a local franchise. I'm sure there are some very qualified local franchises, but in our case, we received nothing but empty conversations from the corporate office once things went south with the local franchise. The owners of the local franchise allegedly sold the franchise recently and the couple who owned it (**************** and his wife) have supposedly moved to *******. Our advice is to understand that who you work with is a local franchise. Check out other reviews and other platforms like ************* etc. Eyes wide open...

Please don't use this company for anything their employees that come to clean up water damage steals. It was already tragic to experience the water damage to my condo but the people that came and did the clean up decided to leave with 2 of my collectors dolls that were in my closet. They left the boxes and removed my dolls that can no longer be purchased. I called and complained several times and was basically told I was lying and they do background checks on their employees so they know it wasn't their employees. One of the employees asked me to give him my key since I had to go stay at a hotel for some days due to the big fans in the condo. I said no thanks just call and I will meet you here. If I had gave them my key my whole condo would have been cleaned out. They didn't reimburse for what they stole and I did file a police report on these bums. My insurance company told me I would have to make another claim to get reimbursed for my dolls that were stolen. **** Davis of West County in *********, ** are unprofessional thefts. If you want your belongs DON'T HIRE THEM they steal. This company and employees are horrible. I REPEAT DO NOT HIRE **** DAVIS RESTORATION for your water damage cleanup tell your insurance company no thank they steal. I am a Christian ***** that has no reason to lie about this situation and I don't want anyone else to have something stolen from them that you valued. Please don't hire this company.

In my opinion find a different company slow and unprofessional..

I had 2 other clean up companies come out to give me an estimate for a toilet overflow clean-up. The other 2 companies did not give me an estimate until the insurance company had contacted them for 3 days. **** Davis came out for the clean-up the day after they were contacted. The residue had dried up by the time I could get someone to clean up the mess. **** Davis contractors cleaned up the mess efficiently, their employees were were polite and helpful when I asked questions, and I would recommend them to anyone who needs a restoration job. The project cost a reasonable amount.- *************************, *********, **.
