Jeepster man assured me that this 2.5" Lift Kit (Part # *********-2.5) would fit my 1951 Jeep Willys CJ3A without any alteration to this vehicle. My mechanic removed the existing springs and installed the lift kit in question only to find out it requires many alterations to make it fit properly. Jeepsterman claims that the shackle carriers/baskets/holders have been modified from one position to another. But a forensic inspection clearly reveals this is untrue. They will give me a refund but I must pay for the return postage. they should pay for the return postage with no re-stocking fee. They misrepresented their product. invoice ************. They are well familiar with me and my complaint. They refuse to pay for return postage. I've talked to *****, ****, and *****. And they keep giving me the runaround. So, removal of the original springs. Attempted installation of the lift kit. The removal of the failed lift kit. The re-installation of the original springs, etc. This process costed me, out of pocket approximately 10 hours of mechanic's labor. The whole process was exorbitant being that NOTHING was accomplished.Business response

We have tired to help this customer on multiple occasions. This is a 60 plus year old vehicle and things get modified on them. We sent the customer new modified spring because his vehicle has be modified for no charge and he was suppose to return the other spring to us. He did offer to pay the shipping on the other springs, but I told him we would cover it after he had apologized for his behavior on the phone. We provided a return label, but customer has refused to return them. I told the customer that he could return it and I would waive the restocking fee but I will not pay for the return label. We do not normally do return for special order items, yet I was still willing to help him out. He has been extremely rude to my employees and this is the most I am willing to do for him.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: I will not pay for the shipping of the spring back as it faulty product. It should be on the company to pay for the shipping label.

As I said before, I offered to waive 10% restocking fee and still offer the option for return. Even though we normally do not do returns on this product. I believe I have been very reasonable and I have tired to work with customer. I will not pay for his return labels though. I have already paid for return label that he had refused to ship back to us. Customer only shipped prepaid label springs back after he reported us to the BBB. We are being fair and the customer is not being workable or reasonable at all. So again No I will not be paying for his labels.
