Aug 2023, I spend $4700 through Install made easy to hire the project floor, ( owner : ******.) to install my flooring project. Discuss about they will remove carpet, install the new floor, take down and put back the baseboard and take away the old carpet. After 5 days, the crew was done and I refused to sign the completion bcz I surely express my dissatisfaction to the baseboard which are broken or disappeared. The owner said he cannot do anything about it, I contacted ***. I filed complain to BBB on *** who said they cannot do anything. Project floor refuse to correct the mistakes they made, leave me a mess of the flooring project. I just want others aware of the irresponsible work of the *** and project floor, ****** did and not using them.Business response

I always explain the scope of work. To include the possibility of baseboard splitting. There were a couple of weeks in between initial work and final work to allow her to hire a painter. In that time, 3 tiny pieces were misplaced. I explained we could fix the baseboards with additional cost. Customer wanted the baseboard put back with no changes. I put every effort into customer satisfaction.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: the owner didn't take the responsibility of misplacing the baseboard and put it back in place as described in the scope of work. Instead he disappeared and I didn't sign the completion of the work. No one touched any piece of the boards. And leaving a big gap in transition like back door and the bathroom is unacceptable. I didn't cause the problem why do i have to pay extra charge to fix your problem? Attached pics just a few samples of the whole house is like that in every room. Will you not be in my position of dissatisfaction if this is your house?Desired outcome- Im sure they dont want to give me any compensation for all the trouble i went though. This company should put in the * list that people learn my my experiences.
