If I could leave a negative rating I would. My relator recommended this man. I had him come out for a quote and said I was looking to replace work in 2 weeks. He left me his quote and kept calling me to accept offer. I explained my situation very clearly I was not ready. He tried to force a date on me before I even signed contract. I ended up with a better rate and text him no longer interested. He left me a nasty horrible message demeaning me. So glad I did not use his services. I would not recommend and now I am seeing his other reviews. Truly a piece of trash!

Minus-10 Stars. Matt ******************** is probably the worst roofer in ********** **. with an attitude to match.The State should step in and put him out of the roofing business. Matt ******************** is a horrible person who just happens to be in business. Did an incomplete job on our roof replacement. He returned my call hollering and whining the phone non-stop then hung up.Read the reviews! This is his second company profile. Look up the other profile. BAD REVIEWS .YOU'VR BEEN WARNED!

My sister-in- law needed a roof put on due to hail damage. Matt ******************** had done previous work for her. Bad choice. No contract. Shingles were not the color she wanted. Brought the wrong color gutters. They did get the right color but not a good job. She had to call back to get them right. They promised to come out one day and didn't. *inally came out and fixed the problem, ********************* gave her money which covered everything but the depreciation. After completing the job, she gave him over $600.00 over the amount the insurance company gave her. Come to find out he did not do everything that the insurance company stated that needed repaired. Since completion but not things that he didn't do, he has harassed her nonstop for the additional money that the insurance company is supposed to give her. Cursing her repeatedly, using the * word, coming by her house which the insurance agent specifically told him not to, calling her. She is waiting for her check to come from insurance prior to sending him any additional monies. He continues to harass her. He has been reported to the elderly abuse line.

Had a roof put on my house in 2020 backed with a 15 year warranty. Recently we have had alot of rain and there is water pouring through my ceiling fan in my kitchen. I called **** ***** to report the emergency problem. (Due to the water running through our electricity light fixture) and he answered the phone and I began to tell him the problem and he started yelling and cussing at me about it being after bussiness hours and it wasn't an emergency. **** the owner is very unprofessional and cussed me and called me every name in the book. This man doesn't need to be working with customers. Nor does he need to run a business that offers warranties that he doesn't stand against.

**** is one of the least professional people I've worked with. He does not listen as you describe the issue, nor will he answer any questions or explain what his plan is to resolve the issues.I had **** repair two spots on the roof that were leaking. He did not show up the day he said he would and I had to call him back to get him to go out there.The next time it rained I found out that only one of the issues was actually fixed and called him to come look at that spot again. Of course he did not show up the day he said he would so I had to call him again to get him to come out and finish his work at which point he hung up on me when I asked if he'd actually be out that day.Would 100% not recommend.

I was very disappointed in Steck Roofing Company. I asked this owner who is the contractor to look at a small job that I needed to have completed a small piece of fascia that had came down. He drove to my house to look at the job and looked me in my face saying that he would complete the job for me by sending one of his men over to complete the job. Days passed by with no availability from him or a complete no show from his worker. I decided to call him and speak with him about when he would send some one over to complete the job. He answered the phone and he stated that he was extremely busy on that day, and that he would send some one over the next day. The next day came and I waited and no one showed up, so I said maybe the owner would call me to inform me about the no show. There was never, ever a phone call, so I just said maybe he forgot. I called him again the next day , and this time he had one of his workers to answer the phone and to tell me that he was still busy and would send someone over the next day. The next day came and again the same pattern, no one showed up. i called back the next day and no one answered the phone , and I then waited it was going on a whole another week and until this day. The owner never called back to recognize me the work that I asked him to do . I felt that he didn't want the the job because it was a very small job and he felt there was not money in the job! I feel if he felt that way then he should have expressed those concerns to me and stated the first day he came out, that he didn't want to the job. I felt very disrespected by this company and the workmanship was very unprofessional . He never called back to say that he would do the job. He just left me hanging and it has been a year now. I did find another roofing company who did a very good job. Customer service from Steck company should be honored to all customers , whether the job is small or large !
