I hired ********************* to build a website for my business. The logo she created was great but the website was plain & when I asked her for upgrades at the request of my then mentor, April declined. After expressing my dissatisfaction, she sent notice over a year ago I wouldn't be eligible to renew hosting with her services which I paid for $12.99 a month but paid for the entire year. On 3/16, I received an email stating she was disconnecting my website, claiming to have emailed me, called and texted with no reply but it's might funny I received the message on the said date. She disconnect the website because I was making upgrades with another company and immediately removed the site offline instead of giving me time to transfer being lowdown. I have every email message from this *********** prior to 3/15 notifying me of the disconnect. I notified her last year asking for credential and control of the website after speaking with my daughter we decided to stay u til expiration date. ***** claimed the subscription ended in ********** March so until she saw the site being upgraded she didn't act on disconnecting & locking the domain & expressing I need to use another company. Unless she owns WordPress, I can use them if I choose too. I feel her desire to disconnect also stem back to my dissatisfaction in a back and forth text/email which has since cause her to retailate. Her business ethics are awful and unprofessional and I wouldn't recommend her service to anyone. The. She charged me to apply for a free EIN number and other Services I wasn't aware she was charging for which resulted in my paying her a large sum of money.

To Whom It May ***************** am writing in response to a complaint filed with the Better Business Bureau by *************************************, owner of KKT Mobile Phlebotomy Services, regarding the services provided by my company. It is my intention to provide a comprehensive account of the ******************** rendered, the communications between ******************** and myself, and the efforts made to address her concerns.

      Service Initiation and Agreement
On December 8, 2022, ******************** engaged my services for the startup of her business, including logo design and website development. An agreement was reached, and a deposit invoice was issued on December 9, 2022.Our communications were conducted through verbal discussions and text messages, given ************************ non-local residence. ******************** was quoted a price and sent an invoice for services which required a deposit. She paid her deposit after reviewing the invoice.
      Services Provided
I undertook several tasks at the commencement of our agreement, including the application for a National Provider Identifier (NPI)number, Employer Identification Number (***), and Articles of Incorporation for ************************ business. During our consultation, prior to invoicing for these services, I provided transparency and informed ******************** that these applications could be self-completed without any charges but would incur fees if processed through my services. Upon her request, and payment of deposit on the invoice sent to her I completed these tasks, and a charge was included in the invoice for the *** and NPI applications and Domain Name acquisition. ******************* later expressed concerns over this charge, given the free nature of the application process being free if she would have done it herself.
In an effort to accommodate her concerns, despite her previous agreement and acceptance of fees for services rendered, I offered to reallocate the charge towards her web design services, effectively waiving the fee for the *** application. ******** however, agreed to pay for the service rendered.Ms. ******* expressed satisfaction
      Payment and Additional Services
******************** made a payment of $150 to initiate the work prior to me starting, covering the costs associated with domain name acquisition and initial logo design. She later made a $500 payment towards her invoice on December 15, 2022. On December 23, 2022, despite encountering personal challenges, which necessitated payment rescheduling, ******************** expressed satisfaction with the progress and outcomes of the services provided. On December 30, 2022 she made a $200 payment towards her balance and requested her logo files again. On January 11, 2023, I informed Ms. ******* that her website draft was complete and we scheduled a walkthrough for the following Sunday. At the time of the walkthrough she again expressed satisfaction and told me that she wanted to launch her site on February 1, 2023 at 6am.
      Completion and Satisfaction of Services
The website was launched on February 1, 2023, with ******************* expressing satisfaction with the final product. Subsequent to the launch, adjustments were made to the website based on her feedback. Throughout the service period, I provided additional support beyond the agreed-upon services including file conversion for embroidery and the setup of a booking gateway, business card design and a social media marketing flyer at no additional charge. It was my intent to assist Ms. ******* with her business exposure by providing branded materials.
      Concerns and Resolution Efforts
On February 2, 2023 Ms. ******* sent me a text message saying that her website looks great.
Beginning February 16, 2023, Ms. ******* proceeded to request additional services at a time in which I was not accepting any projects. Once denied additional services, I began receiving feedback regarding dissatisfaction with the website and the desire for additional updates not previously communicated, I attempted to address ************************ concerns through direct communication with no success as Ms. ******* did not answer my phone calls.
On March 21, 2023, ******************** text me to express that she had decided to seek services elsewhere and expressed her intent to cancel our ongoing services. I provided information on the procedure for discontinuing the hosting service, in line with the policy clearly outlined on my website and discussed during our initial consultations. This was after her prior expressions of satisfaction. There was no additional communication between Ms.******* and I until March 2024.
On January 7, 2024, Ms. *******s hosting expired.  Per the terms of service clients are responsible for renewing their hosting with me. This is clearly stated on my website terms and during the consultation. I did not hear from ******************** until March 16,2024 which was over a month past her due date of January 7, 2024. I disconnected Ms. ********* site from my hosting platform due to non- payment of hosting renewal for the ***** period.
I would like to clarify that despite her accusation, I do not have access to Ms. ********* domain as it was obtained through ****** with the email she provided. She would have received an email from ****** to renew the domain name. I do not handle domains that are not obtained through my hosting service after acquisition, and post project completion, which in this case was February 8, 2023. Upon disconnection from hosting, ******************** was sent her complete website files and installer.
      Conclusion
It is my firm belief that throughout our engagement, I have acted in good faith to provide ******************** with the services requested, to accommodate her concerns, and to ensure her satisfaction with the work completed.
I is unfortunate that ******************** felt it necessary to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, but I hope this account clarifies the circumstances surrounding our interaction.
I remain committed to providing high-quality services to all of my clients.

      Complaint: 21447150

I am rejecting this response because:

I was satisfied with the logo but never the website because she didn't follow through with anything she verbally claimed to do. SEO for ******* she never contacted me to inform me Squarespace took over the domain and I've hired a professional company that can validate she's very inexperienced and the website was not professional nor eye catching. When asked to update information, she declined & when she noticed I hired someone to perform services, she disconnected the website & on numerous occasions she makes it clear she wasn't going to refund my money because I definitely asked for a refund & even with the Articles of Operations she made several errors, charged me for a free EIN # but didn't tell me she was charging me u til she sent the invoice. She operated a bad business practice, her promises on her website to customers are broken & she contracts out to Fuver to help build these websites that are not of good quality. Refund me for the website and I'll squash this, otherwise I will be in ************** filing a Civil Claim if it can't be resolved here.

      Sincerely,

      *********************************

There's major issues with the site to include typos that were addressed with her early on. A patient should NOT have noticed the grammatical errors(that's embarrassing) Also with the site being down, she's help up my business. She also saying the hosting was expired in January but there nowhere showing the site was expired, if that be the case why wait until someone else log in for SEO purposes. I paid for a website that's not up and running. She never linked my social media, the phone was wrong twice.See attachment for other Issues. I hired a professional service to build a new site, they ran a scan on the site ********************* built and declared the site unprofessional & wasn't fit to be up because it didn't help my business.

I am rejecting this response because:
I her the website looked great when she sent it to me, I also went back & told her about all the imperfections, grammatical errors, didn't make any upgrades, charged me ongoing hosting fees without giving me options, did not add services or SEO she promised, had an attitude when asked to upgrade, add or change & disconnected your site without giving prior notice and or options / suggestions to move it which took it down and hurt my business. She's a fraud & didn't tell me she was charging to set up a Free EIN# for $120 & NPI which I already had an established number.

      Sincerely,

I had a professional company looking at the website, no matter her fraudulent paperwork she has no business being in business because she doesn't have a clue to what she's doing & I will continue to promote her as a bad business. None of my links worked, the website was full of twist and turns and even the customers that went to the site let me know it wasn't a good one. It's okay, I'm on to the business I display good faith in. I pray she make things right with people who are dissatisfied with her  unprofessional work.
