In April 2023 a piece of trim, formerly installed by CMK Construction, blew off my house in a storm. I contacted my builder and was instructed to contact ***** as he did the siding on my house, which was built in 2021. I contacted *****, owner of CMK, multiple times. I did not save any texts until I realized he was not going to fulfill his word. Beginning with the April 28 text, he informed me he was out of town and would return on "Tuesday and take care of it." He did not show up. I contacted him on Wednesday, May 3 and asked, "When will be you be fixing the trim on my house?" He replied, "I can come by tomorrow." Again, he didn't show. I contacted him on Friday, May 5 and he still has not replied. I hired another individual to fix the trim. He could not find the piece to match the *****, so he reached out to CMK and was given the same excuses and then quit replying to him also. As of this date, I still don't have the trim fixed.Business response

This job was 3 years after her warranty had expired and she told me she was hiring someone else to do the job. The man she hired contacted me and told me he would take care of it and he asked me to **** a piece of metal and I did and he never came back to pick it up. She hired someone else for this job, not me.Customer response

I am rejecting this business response. My closing date on this house was 02/2019. The fascia blew off on 04/07/2023. My house warranty ended 02/2022. So this was not 3 years after my warranty expired. It was only 14 months.The reason I had to hire someone else was because *****,CMK, told me multiple times between April 8th and May 3 he would fix the fascia. I contacted him May 5 but he did not return my text message it phone call. This is evidenced by the a copy of the text messages I uploaded in my complaint. On May 8, I reached out to another *********. He couldnt find a piece to match. On June 8, he asked for ****** contact information. On June 13, he told me he talked to ***** and ***** told him he would make a new one. On June 20, I reached out to my ********* to find out when I could expect the repair to be completed. He responded that ***** was on vacation but would return that week (Are we starting to see a pattern as I was thinking kid the same thing when I was directly dealing with *****?) On July 10, I reached out to my ********* and he informed me that ***** wouldnt answer him. I have attached all the text messages.

I have resolved the issue myself. I dont think CMK is accredited by the BBB. However, if the company is, then I would like my complaint to stand as a review of this company.
